IMO, that's who Jones and even Bradley need to target in order to make their Pac lottery tickets more enticing to the public and Manny himself. If they target Zaveck and Senchenko and lift their belts, that makes them legit champions and sets up unification bouts. Berto is targeting one of them last I checked, if he gets a belt, Berto-Jones would be a nice test for both guys.

I hope Jones Berto happens,I've been wanted that fight and personally think Jones beats him easy..

To be fair, Soto Karass is a very solid fighter and Benavidez is a prodigy, not your average 17 year old boxer by any stretch.

no doubt about it. Ortiz has fought Peterson, Berto, Maiadana. People criticized Berto for his opposition, and he fought Ortizm, Collazo, Quintana, and Urango. None were that great, obviously, but all better than Jesus Soto Karass (well Urango and Karass are pretty close), who gave Jones life and death in their first fight. And, if Im not mistaken, Jones is 28 yrs old; I believe he's a couple yrs aolder than Berto and a few yrs older than Ortiz.
At this point no way is Jones better than Berto or Ortiz - at least he hasn't proved that he is.
Jones needs a couple of step up fights b/f he should fight Pac.
The problem is, there arent many fresh faces at 147. and Id rather see Jones fight Pac than the garbage wba champ, senchenko, or Bradley who was afraid of Khan. If Judah somehow beats Khan, which I highly doubt. Pac-Judah would be a good fight - and Judah has the name recognition that Mike Jones doesnt yet have

Berto and Ortiz have mega amateur experience while I don't think Jones has as much as either man..As for his fight with Karass he was very green yet but won the fight clearly and dominated the rematch..I think he is just ready now for his step up,an while I don't think he is near ready for a Pac or May he beats Ortiz and Berto imo..Neither have much skill to write home about imo..Add his height and boxing ability I don't give either of umm much of a chance..

$40 million is the rumor; however, if you really analyze that number, you may find out that it's not very possible (unless, ofcourse, Ortiz really is only making $2 mil). Etheir way, I find it very hard to believe Mayweather will be guaranteed $40 mil... Let's not forget he was going up and down telling everyone who would listen that he made $25 million for that WWE Wrestlemania stunt. However, it turned out he made less than $10 mil for it. soto karass is not a very solid fighter. hes a solid fighter. the very could have been saved. but thats besides the point. jones had a tough fight the first time and in the second fight he beat him convincingly. ppl need to get over that. and ur rite about the benavidez thing.
