Has anyone ever thought that maybe Margarito has been cheating his whole career?

sometimes yes & sometimes not, it all depends on the situation , i mean if they have the chance to load his gloves without being notice by the commission, they certainly would .....watch this fight & tell me if margacheato are with loaded gloves or not link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-otOarNdV0Comment

Except that, according to many theorists, he began "loading" after the loss to Williams, when he was at last chance saloon and supposedly knew another loss would send him off to journeyman status.
So the Lujan fight can also serve as a good reference of Tony's ability to cause damage and disfiguration with his hands naturally (even while lacking concussive power), reaching back to way before he beat down Cotto, depending on which theory you're going by.
But if he was "loading" all along, when exactly was it he began the practice? Literally from bout #1 to the night of bout #44?
Or are we now backtracking and saying that the "loading" only came in following his technical loss to Santos, just from the Lujan fight on?
Nobody seemes to have a very compelling theory as to when 'it' began; my theory on the issue of Tony's ability to bust faces up is that mileage varies with different opponents, who may take different shots more in different areas, or defend from certain shots to differing levels of success, or take them with varying degrees of physical resilience.
If "plaster" was a factor all that time, though, from the mid 90's to the late 00's, or even from '05 to '08, Im pretty sure we would've seen more, and possibly quite worse, disfigurements and consequences from the many blows Tony was landing on opponents.
No doubt something 'foreign' was initially in his wraps on the night he fought Mosley, something that technically shouldn't have been there, but the matter of its intended offense and/or the extent of its potential for damage was quite possibly overblown for whatever bureaucratic reason.
I can only conclude it wildly unfair and unreasonable to throw out Tony's entire, hard-fought career on zero compelling evidence of any long-running nefarious campaign.Comment

The Golden Johnson fight was a very soft touch back from the lost to PW. No, I don't think he had loaded gloves.sometimes yes & sometimes not, it all depends on the situation , i mean if they have the chance to load his gloves without being notice by the commission, they certainly would .....watch this fight & tell me if margacheato are with loaded gloves or not link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-otOarNdV0
Johnson was one of Margo's only first round Ko's (besides Gomez at 147 before the Clottey fight). Johnson was out of his league with Margo.
Johnson was put in with Margo simply to impress.Comment

people who talk down on Marg aren't real boxing fans? If anything people who talk so highly of him aren't real boxing fans. The man got caught cheating. What more evidence do ya'll want? He's a clear cheater, and it is completely logical to question his career, as well as his big defining wins.He never cheated, and was never caught doing anything.
All he had was old guaze and lotion.
If you were about to fight and had cotton balls in your glove that would be considered illegal substance and you would be labeled a "cheater" dispite the cotton balls having no effect in the fight.
Fuck the TS, this is a clear hate and bait thread towards Margarito.
You people aren't even real boxing fans, those who talk down upon Margarito.

I absolutely agree with you. I've written about this at least a dozen times, but there are so many sub normal mental defectives on this site that it's impossible to reason with them. They should never be allowed to serve on a jury.He never cheated, and was never caught doing anything.

There was NO evidence that HE had done anything wrong. He was penalised because "the buck stopped with him". In fact, I read that the ruling stated that they were not accusing him of KNOWING, but of HAVING, and I believe that was the reason he was not BANNED FOR LIFE.
And in any case, the "crime" was not serious enough for such a penalty, since it was only of having a USED cotton gauze pad instead of a NEW one. The othe "evidence" was that there were TRACES of 2 components which are found in plaster-of-paris. BUT....the statement further said that these components are also found in MANY other manufactured items, PRINCIPALLY........... COSMETICS.
I immediately thought of a form of absorbent powder, not neccessarily talcum powder.
AND IT WAS ONLY TRACES............In other words a sprinkling of powder.
The whole thing was a fraud, on an innocent man, whose trainer said the he alone was at fault.Comment
