Personally I think if he fights Martinez again, more smart he can win that fight. Mind over heart.

One of my favourite fighters to watch but shame he has no casual appeal - could have been huge.

That sounds logical but Paul doesn't have the luxury to become boring. He becomes boring and he no longer is on television since he doesn't sell tickets and is avoided to begin with.

Plus I don't think ne can learn a style to to work behind his jab at this point in his career.

I remember when Taylor made the switch and it was a disaster. I've always said Taylor going to steward was the worst thing that happened to his career. Steward cut off his balls.

I agree with him, He has taking too much punishment physically in his previous fights and now he seem to have been mentally affected by his KO loss to Martinez, with his style i knew he just could not last in boxing.

Actually, he fought Winky Wright pretty damn smart. Used his attributes in that one. After that, went right back to brawling like a moron with Cintron.

Whats up with these Young dudes and Retiring? First Juan Diaz, then Daivd Haye keeps crying about retiring, now Pwill? Wtf?

While you got Vitali and Bhop still fighting strong at 40+

                  Pathetic

I bet this talk ends if he ends up going out and looking great against Lara. Then again if he gets knocked out by him it wouldn't surprise me if he never fought again. I doubt he wants to become a journeyman who just goes out and gets KO'ed by prospects. If he can still take a punch he's an elite fighter, if he can't he's done. Realistically he isn't ever going to be able to just become a stay behind his jab boxer who doesn't get hit a lot. He is who is he, and if he can't take a punch anymore and isn't willing to trade it's over.
