That sounds very likely , coming back from a KO that devastating can't be an easy thing physically and mentally especially with his relentless pressure style were he knows he's going to have to take it to give it.

damn, this sucks, i love watching williams' fights. his health should be his biggest concern, but if his chin is still good, i wish he would continue, he has the chance to rule the light middleweight division if he can get past lara. maybe he does need a new trainer, but who knows what's really on his mind. still a fan of his til the end though...

Why the hell is his trainer telling him what to do with his life?
His trainer is doing him a service by telling him to quit early.

You have to realize we don't know what kind of physical problems he may have. With his style and the weight he drops, p. Will isn't exactly built for the long term.

But if the Money comes, and there's no serious damage, they always stay around longer than they wanted to.

If he gets a new trainer and fights like a Klit than he can be almost unbeatable at 154. His trainer was a moron for telling him to just trade with Martinez right at the bell without even a study round.

He should hire Emmanual Steward now while he is in his prime and then decide if he wants to hang them up

2 more fights and then a rematch with Martinez for the middleweight title.

If he loses that then he retires, he wins he goes on.

Doubt it. Hes not retiring. Because no JMW can beat him thats not named Martinez.
You haven't seen him since Sergio decapitated him,he must not be the same fighter if his trainer is telling him this,ko's like that end careers
