You just assumed that I felt that Alexander put on an impressive showing or whatever.

Not quite - I did specifically address your constant, bewildering deference to the official verdict, but I figured you were leaning on that and avoiding comment on the actual action in the fight because you knew your guy had really lost.


The fact that you didn't see the fight and just deferred to the official verdict before doing so, when you should know better by now, just nuances your argument slightly, while making it no less (arguably more) dumb.


Anyone who cared about the sport would be embarrassed to see decisions like these being handed out.

I had lucas winning 3,4,6,7,8,10. Plus the kd would make it mathysse by 3 points

I was proud of the way alexander fought and i like him a lot, i also lioe to watch mathysse a lot. But in no way should alexander have won that fight. I consider it a robbery.

The zab fight was not a robbery, id take zab in a rematch and mathysse over alexander in a rematch. Bradley shluld just fight lucas, he has nothing else going on.

I understand what you are trying to say, but how is it Matthysse's fault? He tried to get Devon out of there. It's not like Devon wasn't firing shots back.

It has become clear that if you are not sure, beyond the shadow of a doubt that your fighter can KO Devon...He will win on the cards in Missuori. Even if he looks very average (like he has his last three fights. Granted against other top fighters, but average nontheless.), all Devon has to do is survive. That much has become clear.

Anyway, Devon showed alot of heart in the fight. He just didn't deserve to win it.

Very true... even in the article where the "experts" picked a winner, 99% of them picked Alexander by brutal hometown decision.

I can't stand Gary Shaw, but atleast he had the sense to fight tooth and nail to have the Bradley/Alexander fight outside of MS. Some people said it was ****** because of ticket sales, however Bob Papa (I believe) said last night that the Bradley/Alexander fight sold 6,000 tickets (outside of MS) and last nights fight (in MS) sold only 6,000 as well. But regardless, even if ticket sales could have been twice that amt for the B/A fight, it wouldn't have been worth the OBVIOUS danger of losing to unfair and BS judging.

Even some of the MS fans were booing the decision last night. They knew what's up... I believe Alexander may actually be losing fans with 2 of his last few wins.

Side note: Did anybody else get that "oh snap" feeling last night when Larry Merchant dissed Devon Alexander at the end of the post fight interview? Devon just kindof had this 'WTF?' look on his face. I think he was expecting Larry to compliment him on his 'improved' performance, but he was in for a big surprise wasn't he? Larry Merchant is like that old crotchety, hard to impress father that so many of these young kids want to please and hear give them credit. Larry Merchant don't give it up very easy... Floyd Mayweather Jr: "Larry Merchant don't know **** about boxing!!". He had that same look Devon had last night, after the Baldomir fight. He was all happy and riding high off of his win, until Larry Merchant started speaking lol.
