I clearly had Lucas winning the fight, but I would hardly say that Devon "ran all night". There were a couple of times that Devon used more movement then previous rounds, but for the most part Devon hung in there and took some big shots - even the commentators were suprised he was going pretty much toe to toe.

You really do have to give Devon some credit, and as someone else stated, even though he DID give a good performance, he just didn't deserve the win. You can't really blame Alexander, he did his job - the judges just made a crappy decision.

Not true. In the 9th(I think it was), I thought Devon was going to kayo Lucas. He was landing bombs in that round.

I can't remember all the rounds. I never write down scorecards. All I do is score each round and keep in my mind what the point total is(like 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 etc, I never do 9-10 point scoring). I think it was the 5th that I gave Devon because of the activity but it could of gone to Lucas because the shots were harder.

Even my blind, though one-eyed, coq had Matthysse winning.

Very true... even in the article where the "experts" picked a winner, 99% of them picked Alexander by brutal hometown decision.

I can't stand Gary Shaw, but atleast he had the sense to fight tooth and nail to have the Bradley/Alexander fight outside of MS. Some people said it was ****** because of ticket sales, however Bob Papa (I believe) said last night that the Bradley/Alexander fight sold 6,000 tickets (outside of MS) and last nights fight (in MS) sold only 6,000 as well. But regardless, even if ticket sales could have been twice that amt for the B/A fight, it wouldn't have been worth the OBVIOUS danger of losing to unfair and BS judging.
There may have only been 6k there last night, but that is because he was coming off a disappointing loss. The Alexander-Kotelnik fight seemed to have a much bigger crowd and I would imagine Bradley-Alexander would have drawn 2x what Alexander had last night. Regardless, smart move by Bradley's people to put it in a neutral site, although Alexander was so heavily outmatched it would not have mattered.

Regardless, he has judged THOUSANDS of fights in his career, all of them have been in the state of MN and SD, with 50 outside of USA. He has only judged 2 IN MISSOURI. Want to guess which ones? If you picked

                Alexander - Kotelnik 116-113
Alexander - Lucas then you are teh winrar!

Oddly enough that a judge who never judges in that state would go there for a NON TITLE fight? hmmmmmmm.

Don King flew him out because of the crazy score card, I guess he likes money that senile old ****.

Thats it, im starting a website, going to expose all these judges, post all their info online

Who deserved the win? eh the guy who landed more punches overall, more power punches, dropped his opponent and who hurt his opponent far more than his opponent did him, matthysse of course.

Im not in the slightest bit suprised by the result though. This fight was done right from when they made it a 10 round affair. In his last fight matthysse came on strong late against judah and alexander faded badly against both kotelnik and bradley so they made a title eliminater a 10 rounder!! Disgraceful stuff. The only way lucas was getting outa there with a win was by KO, the fight was effectively fixed imo

They wheeled back one of the judges who scored the kotelnik fight for devon (116 - 112) by the name of nelson, who did the job for them once again. America must be level now with germany as the most corrupt biased place to try to get a result for a travelling fighter.

Alexanders punches often fall short and his has very little power, add to that his punch noise and you have a very annoying fighter. This guy is a typical homeboy, relies on biased or bought hometown officials. Hes very limited and all the talk about him was just hype, he should have 3 loses on his record but they keep paying him and now hes still in line for fights, its disgraceful hometown stuff
