he's a good sparring partner for Pac, that i'll give ya

funny thing though, those "old" Mexicans were the ones that are cream of the crop of the division

give me a "young" Mexican at that time that posed a big threat over Pac
Barrera, Morales, Marquez were all in their primes in the 1999-2002 years.
They were cream of the crops, cause despite being old, they could still beat young mediocre contenders.

barrera lost to Pac in 2003, cause barrera had many pre-fiight problems/distractions (wife divorce, promoter problems, back-n-forth medical clearances for the metal plate in his head).
by the time barrera stepped in, he was mentally, and physically drained before the fight, cause he had to leave high-altitude training many times cause of medical clearance, and wildfires, and that ruined his stamina.
A fighter is only supposed to come down to sea level only ONCE from high altitude or it will ruin his oxygen cells in his body and cause free radicals too soon.

Barrear had to come down and up many times.
Thats why he was beated before he stepped in the ring with Pac.
Barrera was beatable that night, and anyone in the top 10 couldve beaten Barrera that night.
Heck, Morales couldve beaten barrera with only one arm (with Morales' other arm tied behind his back).

Morales was weight-drained fatigued in his 2 loses to Pac.

Soto and Juan Diaz posed threat to pac and challenged Pac in 2007, 2008, 2009 and Pac never replied.

which is why floyd/pac should never happen. i just can't see a reluctant fighter going at it in the ring with pac. floyd will make the fight boring.

boring fights don't deserve to be rewarded with millions of dollars.

Im not mad, Im just educating you posters with facts.

If I was mad, I would start many anti-Pac threads, and really hurt many of you fans' feelings with many facts.

All I did was post a story from a different writer, and if you see the poll, many agree with the writer.

i thought his fight against margarito was anything but boring. however, there is no doubt that his recent fight with mosley (aside from the third round KD and a few small moments here and there) and his fight with clottey almost put me into a coma. but i don't think it was pacquiao's fault for those fights being boring since Clottey barely opened up and Mosley didn't seem interested in wanting to engage with pacquiao. anyways that's just my opinion.

I actually enjoyed Cotto-Pac, other than that all of them have been incredibly dull........ mainly due to the selection of opponents - he should have never fought Mosley and Marg.
