It says it right above in the article that they are looking to "GROOM THEIR FIGHTER'S ABILITIES", not "FIGHT THE BEST IN THE DIVISION"!!!

The only reason to put your fighter in easy is because you yourself have no confidence in him. I'm not the one who's saying Canelo is deficient, it's his own team saying he's no good and we have to put him in easy. If his own team doesn't believe he can fight and beat a good fighter, like Vanes, then I don't either.

Haha you tell me to lay off the bud but you cant even properly write a sentence suck my ****. Mayorga wasnt rated top 10 and Cotto had no trouble fighting him 3 months ago? I dont care for Canelo fighting Gomez if you knew how to read you wouldve seen that already. Collazo still a good fighter and a name for sure he would give Canelo a better fight than Vanessa. How bout you put on some gloves bro stop acting like your some intelligent Bert Sugar wannabe over here. Canelo is putting on good fights against decent opposition and fighting technically sound to me my point of view as a boxing fan not just a Canelo nuthugger. Is he being moved slowly? ya but you can also make a point of how Pacs been fighting has beens as of late, so unless your fighting or making money off it then you really shouldnt have an important opinion.

Wow Canelo is thinking about fighting the legendary Alfonso Gomez? No way he takes this fight he isn't ready for a world beater like Gomez. He would get dominated every round and get KO'd late. This is a mountain that is far too high to climb. Gomez could KO Canelo then fight & defeat Pac all in one night easy. Even Cotto fears a rematch with the megastar Gomez. Gomez is clearly P4P best and ATG.

I hate Gomez enough to like the match up. I will enjoy the beating Canelo puts on him.

W O L A K !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if he doesn't fight vanes or mayorga, fight wolak. chavez/gomez was suppose to happen, but when gomez pulled out, wolak was put in as a replacement. wolak was pumped, but then out of nowhere chavez jr pulled out too. wolak is also a legit lmw fighter, and he deff comes to fight. best fight for alvarez outside of mayorga and vanes....gomez is nowhere in reach of a title shot.

Kannabis - You should be proud of one fact: No one will wrongfully accuse you of having intelligence. Collazo is NOT A 154 POUND CONTENDER! Niether is Mayorga and niether is Gomez! GET IT? GOT IT? GOOD!! You are dismissed pea brain.
