This fight don't make sense. Why now? If Pacquiao only fought Mike Jones earlier this year then it makes sense because he just came off a very difficult fight against Margarito fight that he got hurt badly. He needs a tune-up fight and so Mike Jones makes a lot of sense.

Next year, 2012 not so much. No disrespect to Mike Jones. I like Mike Jones. If Mike Jones have a belt at Welterweight then it makes sense. If he fight Zevac to get the IBF belt then that is fine for Pacquiao to face Jones for a unification match.

I will not buy that fight seriously. And this is coming from a *******. Pacquiao versus any top fighter with a belt is good no more Mosley and no more Clottey fights. I want Pacquiao in more legacy enhancing matches not some regular matches.

That settles it. Ive purchased just about every Pacquiao PPV but this is a fight where I wouldnt even be interested in the replay.

That settles it. Ive purchased just about every Pacquiao PPV but this is a fight where I wouldnt even be interested in the replay.

Although I dont think Jones has what it takes yet, if Mayweather doesnt get made, it is time for Pac to start takin on some young up and comers. Oritz is gone, as he's fightn Bradley; Khan aint gonna happen bc/ they're both trained by Roach, and Bradley really doesn't deserve it after he *****ed out of the Khan fight (although I think Bradley is prayin he can sign wit TR and gets the next shot at PAc). That being said, who else is there at 147?

First, though, I dont wanna hear about any opponent at all if Arum hasnt done everythin in his power to make a mayweather fight. It's one thing if Floyd *****es out and says he needs another tuneup or comes up wit som other bs; then go after one of the young guys - and Jones is actually right around a top 10 contender, who's young and undefeated. If Mayweather fight continues to not get made, it's not the absolute worst fight - but I agree that Jones at least needs 1 signature win 1st - like a fight wit Berto.

Floyd got Pacquiao boxed in seriously. He needs to just send the offer to Mayweather after Marquez, drop the suit, take the test, get in the ting and let the chips fall as they may. This stuff is becoming embarrassing.

Bob Arum doesn't want Pacquiao anywhere near Floyd Mayweather. Before Bob Arum had sold the media the story of Mayweather not wanting the fight he always said Mayweather was first priority. Now that the media is sold he just goes to the next pac victim without even mentioning floyd until pac has his next opponent signed that is.

I agree its not the worst but its so far from the best its embarassing. I'd rather see him take on Solomon if he's gonna fight an up and comer. Nothing about Jones seems challenging to me. He's just OK. There are others that are obvious outside Floyd. You got Berto, Bradley hell even Maidana or Peterson is more appealing to me. We shall see. I think Arum is just woofing anyway.
