pacquiao can be fighting the foul pole from dodgers stadium and its a PPV attraction... but ya i get your point... mike jones will probably be used as a negotiating tool...

If he fight Mike Jones it will be his lowest total PPV number thus far. That would be the dumbest move in boxing. I dont know about yall but I'm just a little sour with his last PPV. Thank God for Arce.

No it wouldnt be. If Arum says it's too soon for Ortiz (who is a champion) then Mike (who nobody knows) Jones is no where near ready for a big fight. Dont even try it dude.

Lol, who r u talking to? Don't try to pin me with the ****-riders, I'm just being honest. I haven't seen Manny fight a bigger, taller boxer that actually goes backwards.

I'm not saying it'll be a competitive fight. I'm not saying it's a great fight for boxing. I'm not saying if Manny wins he'll be any greater. I damn sure don't care about how the PPV numbers will do.

All I'm saying is, for at least 1 round, it'll be interesting to see how Manny deals with the a tall boxer.

Forgive me for being an unbiased boxing fan looking for some interest in an upcoming match. I know unbiased boxing fans r rare now a days, but it just so happens I try my best to be one of them. And interesting up and coming matches r rare as well, so you'll forgive me if ANY POINT OF INTEREST AT ALL catches my attention.

Bradley wouldnt be a one up @ 147. Maybe @ 140 but not 147 cause Bradley didnt look too good @ 147 but Ortiz looks like a beast @ 147.

This fight don't make sense. Why now? If Pacquiao only fought Mike Jones earlier this year then it makes sense because he just came off a very difficult fight against Margarito fight that he got hurt badly. He needs a tune-up fight and so Mike Jones makes a lot of sense.

Next year, 2012 not so much. No disrespect to Mike Jones. I like Mike Jones. If Mike Jones have a belt at Welterweight then it makes sense. If he fight Zevac to get the IBF belt then that is fine for Pacquiao to face Jones for a unification match.

I will not buy that fight seriously. And this is coming from a *******. Pacquiao versus any top fighter with a belt is good no more Mosley and no more Clottey fights. I want Pacquiao in more legacy enhancing matches not some regular matches.
