And Quintana you might say, even though he got the stoppage.

Keeping your foot outside of his is basic 101 in boxing but not the reason he lost. I also don't buy into the fact he didn't train so hard, he came in lighter than Ortiz and looked great.

I think the main reason is because Ortiz being a lefty caused him problems and more importantly, he was manhandled inside. I was shocked to see how much better and stronger Ortiz was on the inside, that was the determining factor in this fight.

that's why when people were clamoring for a Berto-PAC bout, in my head i thought 'a fighter with stamina issues and has problems with southpaws'...would have been a brutal ending for Berto

berto's problem was he can't adjust and not because ortiz was able to stop him from jabbing.

It was a combination of things. The same flaws we have seen in him for years were still there and exploited. Ortiz was able to **** him on the inside when he tried to clinch. He got caught early witch has also become a trend. And he seemed to get tiered because like always he loads up on every shot. He also started looking for one shot instead of boxing. Throw in the hard hitting south paw and the foot placement and everything else and it equals his first loss. A lot of these thing should have been addressed a while back.

What happened to Berto was the same thing that happened to Juanma. They're both good, just not that good, it was inevitable.

When people talk about about Bradley fighting Pac I just think of the Holt shot that hurt him x1000. Timmy is a good fighter I just think Pac is all wrong for him. I think Berto is also good but Pac is all wrong for him. I would like to see Berto vs Cotto at some point.

Berto is not a smart fighter at all, he fights only with his Physical Attributes, it is almost like his brain shuts off after someone hits him...reason why I say that is because it doesn't take much to turn Berto into a Brawler, you land one clean shot on him and he is ready to try and slug it out...if Berto would actually BOX MORE AND BRAWL LESS, he would probably still be undefeated right now

Berto also don't adjust to his opponents, it is no feeling out process with him, he just comes out and tries to score a KO as soon as possible

Maybe he needs to switch up trainers or something, I understand guys having Loyalty but if your not showing any improvement under a trainer then maybe it is time to switch things up
