I have a trouble believing this article because of the fight day they mentioned September 15, which is a thursday and two days before the Mayweather-Ortiz fight.

This would be very similar to Trinidad-Vargas and Cotto would give that kid a beating. Cotto has too much skill and too much experience for Alvarez.

its a little more complicated than that. tito hadn't been in any wars at that point as opposed to cotto who has been battle worn. you can't discount nelo's youth and size either. make no mistake considering each fighters skillset (which is almost parallel) and size, its clear that nelo has the advantage here.

this would not be easy for cotto. if i were a betting man i'd say cotto by SD, but this could go either way.
