Begging for this fight. I don't even know if Cotto can win, but its so much better than the Marg rematch at this stage. Let Marg come back get a decent win then try it out EVEN IF mIGUEL LOSES. Makes no sense to take the fight now. It'll be there win lose or draw.

I have a trouble believing this article because of the fight day they mentioned September 15, which is a thursday and two days before the Mayweather-Ortiz fight.

Cotto isn't the same fighter but Canelo is young.....that makes for a GREAT fight IMO. Canelo is very strong and throws a lot of combinations. Cotto is a warrior who has been there with the best but we have seen his decline.

I agree, I think this is a 50/50 fight right now, people are either writing Cotto off or underestimating the young kid from Jalisco.
weren't you one of those people saying canelo is only 20 years old? now a couple months and another euro bum later, he's ready for the top fighters? looks like you too are a little biased and looking at things with your heart. i expect a cotto win by stoppage if not by ud, canelo hasn't been tested yet. there's no reason to think otherwise wether your a cotto fan or not.

thats good though that canelo fans feel he's ready cuz its time for him to step it up and leave the bums of boxing alone.

I like Canelo. He is a good fighter but he is still fighting c and d class fighters. Cotto would hurt Canelo more than what Canelo could do to Cotto. Jose Cotto took everything that Canelo had for him. Rhodes and Hatton are basically in the same level as Michael Jennings.

I got Miguel Cotto by TKO or UD, no way Canelo can beat Cotto, even if Cotto is not the same boxer.

Did you read my post or just skim over it and reply with some ******ity?

I never said Canelo would beat Cotto or that Cotto would beat Canelo. I said it would be 50/50 and anyone saying it's a blow out either way is delusional.

I'm not saying Canelo would win but if you think that Cotto is the same fighter or so much better than Canelo then you need to take off your PR glasses off your head.
