Antonio Tarver should move to heavyweight

Toney has since proved that as well....Steriods or not he would have easily beat Ruiz as would Tarver.Originally posted by Hitman932and bust John Ruizs sorry ass, just to show everyone how little it meant for roy jones to do it -
I really don't want Tarver to move up. There are big fights for him at 175. A third fight with Johnson to settle that score, Clinton Woods, Jeff Lacy pretty soon and maybe even Jermain Taylor.
I would even be interested in seeing Mikkel Kessler move up to fight Tarver.Comment

yea he would.Originally posted by AnorakTarver would clearly get hurt at heavyweight.
Tarver uses his height to dominate his opponents...but if he moved to heavy he would actually be short for a heavyweight. he also uses his big left hand to keep his opponents off balance, but his "big " left hand won't be as big at heavy...Comment

Tarver doesnt have the frame for a heavy. If he puts on more muscle it wont be natural, and you just have to be in your natural state to be at your best.Comment

I don't get the notion that Tarver must move up to prove his worth. Bernard Hopkins stayed at middleweight his entire career and no one takes anything away from him for not moving up to light heavy.Comment

Why dont you learn a little about why what Jones did was so impressive before you talk ****. Jones started his carreer at 153. Tarver has been 175 all his life and regularly walk around, when not fighting, above the cruiserweight weight limit.Originally posted by Hitman932and bust John Ruizs sorry ass, just to show everyone how little it meant for roy jones to do itComment
