I believe Peterson was already taking risk..Going to the UK to fight 1.and risking taking another L two..Yea he was offered a tittle shot, but to have to make the same money if he won is bogus and only a dummie(imo)would have taken that deal..If I win I want nego room to possible earn more hell all those risk I deserve to be in the driver seat if I won..Like I said Khan put some B.S. in the contract was a **** deal bro and you know it..By the way Peterson was paid 300k to fight Bradley so 350k was no big whoop..

The deal was fine and not unusual at all in boxing. Malignaggi made almost 2mil to fight Hatton and 15k in his next fight; purses available to fighters decrease dramatically after each loss.

Peterson was scared. He'd rather either hide out and wait for a vacant belt to become available for less risk, or take the L with a big payday and come back later. The amount of the purse available wouldn't have mattered if he was confident of winning, because then he would be the shot-caller, but he was not so he turned the fight down.

In his two spotlights on HBO he got sonned by Bradley and then was given the gift of a draw against Ortiz. The dude is not shit and has come up short in both his attempts to step up from fighting bums.

On my cards he beat Ortiz my friend..And on the judges scorecards he won more rds..And once again he would not have been a shot caller if he won, because he would have had to fight in the UK again against Khan in a rematch and would have to take the same money..It was a crap deal no matter how ya slice it bro..

So you want him to take risk to have to take risk again if he won at the same price??Does that sound like the better deal??People on this forum love to claim professional fighters are scared to fight another professional fighter(which makes 0 sense)but it's a business and if it don't make sense you don't take the deal..Khan's deal made lil to no sense overall and you know it..No matter how ya try to spin it,it was a slave contract not beneficial to Peterson at all..
