Haye is really desperate if he is reduced to bigging up his fight with Valuev, a pathetic showing in which he averaged an anemic 12 punches a round. That was one of the worst title fights in boxing history -- and there is no way he really did enough to take a champion's belt. But that is the WBA for you -- it was really Chagaev's belt, not Valuev's. Haye's is the very definition of a "paper title."

Maybe Haye does have a suspect chin, but there's only one Klitschko with a good chin and his name isn't Wlad.
That said, I dunno how Haye can comment on Wlad's run-jab-grab tactics when that's pretty much what he did all night against Valuev.
They're both as bad as each other.
Here's hoping their hate for each other will bring out a real war. Then I'll regain respect for them.Comment

Lets not forget 60-something year old Holyfield gave Valuev all he could handle before he fought Haye.Funny how Ruslan Chagaev, who is much smaller than Haye, wasn't afraid to go inside on Valuev and trade with him. Chagaev's stellar effort against a better version of Valuev shows just how sad Haye's "victory" over the giant was.
Haye is cashing out against Wlad -- he won't take a lot of punishment before he cashes in his chips, takes the money and runs.Comment

He's been down 12 times i believe.
Clearly hurt by left hands in both, while Wlad tries to hold.
Who was classed as the WBA champ when Haye moved to HW?
Beat Valuev more convincingly? Valuev landed about 3 punches on Haye. It was a boring fight but there's no doubt whatsoever who clearly won that fight.

Anybody else notice Haye is like a nervous little school girl that's just met Bieber in person when he's anywhere near Wlad?

Hopefully he won't faint in the ring before the fight starts.Comment
