Who was classed as the WBA champ when Haye moved to HW? Beat Valuev more convincingly? Valuev landed about 3 punches on Haye. It was a boring fight but there's no doubt whatsoever who clearly won that fight.

That was one of the worst title fights in boxing history -- and there is no way he really did enough to take a champion's belt. But that is the WBA for you -- it was really Chagaev's belt, not Valuev's. Haye's is the very definition of a "paper title."

Valuev has quite casual appeal here in the UK due to his size, and most people are so ignorant of boxing that they assume Haye's win is some incredible achievement.
