That is completely irrelevant for Foreman. Obviously hes all about movement and hurting that knee completely ruined his career as he got easily defeated in his next fight. He was top 5 before that.

Mayorga has just as much case to be top 10 as anybody else after those 4 just because nobody sticks out and he did give #1 Cotto a pretty good fight one of Mayorga better losing efforts but Cotto still ran away with that fight.

I haven't seen anything from Cotto since the Margarito fight that suggests that he could beat guys like Floyd, Sergio, or Manny. At the very least I would need to see Cotto beat someone like a Cintron, Alvarez, Martirosyan etc. to show me that he's ready to compete at an elite level again. This is no diss to Cotto, as I stated earlier he's a true warrior and I have mad respect for him. Floyd and Cotto should have fought after the Mosley and Hatton fights. I feel that it would be a b1tch move for Floyd to opt to fight Cotto now, and I'm a big Floyd fan. When there was talk about a Martinez vs Cotto fight popping off I was against it because I think Miguel could possibly get hurt.

mayweather/ortiz will be better imo, cotto doesn't seem to have it anymore to make it dangerous imo, but who knows, it could turn out pretty exciting. still, i see mayweather coming out with a UD

No interest whatsoever, Cotto now is war torn and for me he brings nothing to the table in terms of competitiveness, I would rather pay to watch Ortiz fight Mayweather than a wartorn known name in cotto

The same people who are interested in this fight, are the same people who will be the first to discredit Floyd after Floyd knocks him out. Yeah that's right, knocks him out. Cotto's defense has gotten so bad it's embarrassing. He leaves himself wide open down the pipe. Once Floyd loses respect for his power, Floyd will take him out. Hell ZAB JUDAH could of knocked him out if he wasn't just a front runner and threw more punches, and that "mythical" jab Cotto has will get countered all night.

This is a complete and utter mismatch at this point. I seriously give Cotto NO CHANCE AT ALL in the fight, he's doesn't have 1 punch power, and he isn't consistent with his pressure anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I still have tons of respect for Cotto. I've been watching his career for a long time and I've been a fan for a long time aswell. The guy ducks nobody. I understand that most of you have "hope" that Cotto is still on the top of his game, but it's not true. All this stuff people are saying "He only has trouble with guys who put pressure" no. He has trouble with people who can take his punch and a right hand. Plain and simple. Clottey showed us that, and he isn't known for his Margarito type pressure. Which comes to the Margarito fight, he won't get passed Margarito. Guarantee.

I hope you Cotto fans don't take my post the wrong way.
What trips me out is that I believe that at least HALF of the posters who voted yes on the poll would absolutely crucify Floyd if he fought Cotto now, and rightfully so imo.
