Put me down also. I love his combos. He can counter decently, and his defense is drastically improving. He's only 20, and the sky is the limit. Screw all the guys who want to throw him in vs the toughest fighters out there right away. I believe these are the same guys saying GBP ruins there fighters by doing just that. Which one is it?? I personally think he is being brought up great.
Imagine how good he will be in 1-2 years from now.
I forgot to add he has good consistent body work throughout the fight, and the way he goes from body to head and vice versa is something you usually only see the elite veterans do.Last edited by Battle*Hardened; 06-19-2011, 02:47 PM.Comment

posting on a boxing forum all day???Not hopping on the bandwagon, but for now i'll defend him cause he's 20. Too many dumb haters expecting this kid to show he's on a level of Sugar Ray ****ing Robinson, when's just 20 years old. Fuck, like WTF were these **** heads doing at 20 years old? Working at Burger King? Let him grow, not like like Mayweather, Pacquiao, De La Hoya were fighting world beaters with Valero-like punching power at 20 years old.Comment

Like I said in another thread... WTH, count me in on the Canelo train. Not "Ginger". CANELO. If it's being called the "Ginger train", I'll quickly get off at the next stop...Comment

Much respect to Canelo. I'll be rooting for him up until he fight's Miguel Cotto. He seems like a humble person.
