    • Floyd would probably be favourites for any fight from 154 down..

Who said Floyd will be the fav? Maybe 3 years ago! After all the ducking & Pac's dominance of the top welters today, it's obvious Floyd is scared. Pac will the fav this time coz Floyd has more haters & Pac was very impressive lately.

        • I just hope this fight happens and the odds will be at least 7-1 so i can bet all my previous winnings on Pac.
Damn...either i'm gonna lost all of it or i'm gonna be richer by multiple folds...
But i guess this still won't happen.

Floyd is still scared to fight Pac.

This is primarily based on his level of skill but when you sit on the sidelines as much as he has and let Pac fight all these guys, what choice does the public have? Especially when the only comparison you have between Pac and Floyd is the opponents that they have in common. Facts are facts, Pac beat some of the same guys much more convincingly than Floyd did, so the public derives that Pac is better than Floyd.
When you think about skill level alone and how Floyd shuts guys down, I can see him being a favorite in the fight and have no problem with that.

But when you talk about the most fan pleasing, exciting fighter out there- the fans are gonna choose Pac, not a guy that outpoints the opponent once every 2 years. Pac has fought Floyd's last 4 opponents and he is doing so for a reason- it's part of a plan. And really....Floyd and Cotto would have fought had Floyd remained active and fought twice per year but that was his choice. We all know how short lived fame is- if you don't stay in the spotlight, someone else will come along and steal it away- just the way life is.

It matters more "WHEN" you fight them. Except for JMM Floyd faced the better versions of the common opponents they have shared, i.e. Hatton, ODLH and SSM.

Floyd is also facing better opposition this year at 147. If Pac was fighting JMM at 140 (or below) it would probably be equivalent, but May fighting Ortiz at 147 is better than Pac fighting JMM at 144.

This reasoning is one of the most distorted and simple-minded responses that FMJ's fans have persistently spouted. Anyone who fights fighters that FMJ has beaten is either fighting his leftovers, or, were better versions when they fought FMJ, or were exposed after they lost to FMJ. So that means Foreman fought Ali who was Frazier's leftover, and Ali fought Frazier who was exposed by Foreman. Add to that Hagler's KO of Hearns since Hearns has been TKOed by SRL. All meaningless wins since those fighters they beat have been beaten before.
To top it all, these FMJ fans have conveniently and continuously ignored that after Pac beat these common opponents, they were forced into retirement.

                Seriously?

What did Hearns do after the loss to Leonard?
What did Ali do after that loss to Frazier?

Then compare to what Margarito/Clottey/Mosley have done since there last loss before facing Pacquiao.

LOL. After all Pac has accomplished? It is much more than size bruh. Floyd is better but people just want to see he more whether they hate him or love him.

Pac's punch output will be much lower. I bet Pac wont throw 700 punches.

Floyd will be the favorite. You're wishful thinking. It will benefit my betting for Floyd to be the underdog though.
