I don't think they are purposely catering to the west coast, but that's what it has become over the years.

It's the same thing with triple headers. I love boxing, but I really don't want to sit on my ass till 1 am on a Saturday watching 3 10-12 round fights.

You throw a boring fight in there, by the time the main event starts I don't care. It's just not a smart way to do tv.

I used to hate the Don King events that dragged on till the morning but now I wish we had them, now everything is over so quickly wtf. What kind of a card is 2 fights. should be 3-4 Fights for Regular HBO/Showtime and 6-7 Fights for a PPV.
I get what your saying, but if this broner fight is a sequel to his last fight. Your going to beg for it to be over. Amd by the time the Alvarez fight starts your not even excited anymore.

Its just bad for the sport, makes it extremely hard to get an average fan excited when you bore him for an hour and he needs to wait till 1130 for the main event on a Saturday night.

IMO BAD should be on Thursday's, world championship on Saturday's. You can't expect average fans to give up a Saturday for guys they never heard of. And they don't.

His last fight was a stinker but thats the only fight out of the last 5 that went to a decision. This is why you gotta have some action fighters on every card who put on a great show, regardless of their record. In MMA same thing, Wrestling is taking over and guys just lay and pray to a decision while everyone falls asleep for 15minutes.

On the promotional side of it, promoters don't want to put big name guys in events on Thursday nights because they know they'll draw better on the weekends. I remember there used to be a some big names and big venues on USA Tuesday Night Fights, but that was back when boxing was much bigger in America.

However, I completely agree. I wanted to go running and then out for drinks with my friends tonight, but I'm probably not going to have time to do both because of how late this card is running (and i'm on Central Time).

I watch a lot more Sky PPV weekend cards these days, because I get my boxing fix in 11-1pm-ish, and don't have to sacrifice my Sat. Night.

I never, ever watch Friday Night Fights anymore, because I always have something going on. If it were Thursday Night Fights I wouldn't miss and episode.

10:30 PM EST so 1 hour more.

The undercards were supposed to start at wbcboxing.tv but they lied.

Does anyone know what time zone is "mexican time"? Thats what WBC said, live undercard at wbcboxing.tv at 21:00 "Mexican Time" wtf is mexican time? Mexico has like 3 time zones.
