And by the way....unless he fights Lamon Brewster....Peter will not be a heavyweight champ any time soon.

He needs a new trainer (preferably the Goose) to teach him how to box. A big punch can only get you so far (ask Kofi Jantuah).

Toney gets fatter every fight, can't punch, and has carefully avoided big sluggers. Guinn had some power and potential at one time, but seems to have retired from the sport a couple years back. Toney is just an accident waiting to happen. He's a fat 37, and no, he has nothing to keep a crude Peter from walking through him. Peter's been calling Toney out forever, but of course Toney's been busy trying to finangle undeserved titleshots. Best thing that ever happened to Toney in the division is being busted up before the McCline fight. It allowed him to extend his career.

Toney would give Klitscko fits and would'nt get caught headhunting.

Body punches would most likely be the key for Toney. Vitali has a chin of granite anyway, so Toney circles Vitali and ****s him to the body, eventually causing serious damage, maybe breaking a rib, and there you go. Knockouts do not have to be punches to the dome.

LMAO watch Vitali vs Byrd, and you will see how Vitali will murder Toney, and to top it off Vitali versing Byrd when he was in his prime and did a lot more movement than Toney. All Toney would do is frustrate Vitali.

With Toney's lateral movement, he can make Vitali miss with those jabs and get inside, **** to the body.

Albeit, he can't stay inside long, so he would have to hit and run.

Another weakness for Vitali, as was most evident in the Lewis fight, he fades down the stretch. He isn't built for 12 rounds, and never was. Toney is used to fighting 12 rounds, and it isn't unfamiliar territory for him.

If Toney can split the first 10 rounds with Vitali, all he needs is the last 2. It is a winnable fight, and all it takes is sticking to a gameplan.

Make Vitali miss, **** to the body, move out. Vitali can't stalk him forever.
Vitali went 10+ rounds more than handful of times,

Vitali vs Purity 11th round KO
Vitali vs Bean 11th round KO
Vitali vs Donald 10th round KO
            Vitali vs Hoffman UD
Vitali vs Sullivan 9th round KO

So what exactly do you mean he isn't built for 12 rounds? Perhaps youw wanna see his punch statistics as well for those 10+ rounds?

Besides who are you kidding, Vitali want need all 12 rounds to dispose of Toney, you know how easy he will be to hit, it will be a repeat of Vitali vs Johnson all over again.

5 times does not exactly constitute a 12 round fighter. Toney has gone 10+ rounds 32 times in his career. That's a shade over 5 I think. For all the advantages Vitali has, I still think it would be a closer fight than Klit fans such as yourself think.

James Toney is the drunken master kung fu of boxing. He looks so lethargic and then BAM BAM! Lights Out!

I don't know how he does it.
