Vitali can jab sure, but Toney can easily circle around that jab. Also, lest we forget, Vitali drops his right hand when throwing his jab, and more often than not overextends himself in that process. With Toney's lateral movement, he can make Vitali miss with those jabs and get inside, **** to the body.

Albeit, he can't stay inside long, so he would have to hit and run.

Another weakness for Vitali, as was most evident in the Lewis fight, he fades down the stretch. He isn't built for 12 rounds, and never was. Toney is used to fighting 12 rounds, and it isn't unfamiliar territory for him.

If Toney can split the first 10 rounds with Vitali, all he needs is the last 2. It is a winnable fight, and all it takes is sticking to a gameplan.

Make Vitali miss, **** to the body, move out. Vitali can't stalk him forever.

If Toney loses a little more weight, he will even be more impressive. Toney is one of the best counter punchers in history. Also he can take a punch with the best of them. I've never seen Toney in trouble & I've watched over 40 fights from Toney.
I agree, I been telling my boys the same thing but they think Vitalis the man I think a fit Toney can beat Vitali.

"If I were on steroids, I would be cut. Look at me. Do I look like I am on steroids?" said the pudgy Toney.

"I am still the champion. The belt does not make me, I make the belt. I beat Ruiz with one hand and they stripped me. So what? I will still unify the belts."

I think you might be talking about Wlad fans.

7 days ago he might, but right now he's talking about the Toney nut-lickers who seem to think beating Dominick Guinn is like achieving world peace, when in fact it's something any decent heavyweight could do as easy as taking a mid-morning dump...

Toney can flatout box. I can't see how anyone thinks Vitali or Wlad could even give Toney problems. Have they fought anyone like Toney or find someone like Toney to spar? NO. Only person they fought that is slick as Toney is Byrd. Byrd slaps wher Toney punches with good power.

Yeah they are taller but that makes it worse for them because
they are stand big targets. Who honestly thinks Wlad or Vitali can keep Toney on the outside with only a jab and 1-2 combo? Toney is gonna be shaking and baking and once he gets inside that large size advantage is a disadvantage.
Those Ukrainian boys ain't gonna do crap but hold and push and see who gets tired first. That's is the only way they can win against Toney.

Toney can be beat. Toney doesn't like speedsters where he has to chase and can't cut the ring off. Guys with fast hands are also a problem. I don't think you can KO Toney but you can make him look bad and actually outbox him but the K bros aint got the recipe.

Guinn is a bum but who wants to fight Toney?

Yes, Toney is slick and has a lot of skills but he's a midget. He's a small, small heavyweight and unlike Marciano, Frazier, and Tyson, he just doesn't carry a knockout puncher. Physically he's easy to push around in the clinches as well.

If boxing was only about skills, Mayweather would hold belts in every weight division. In reality, things like size, strength, power, and reach are huge factors.

Telling us that Toney is the slickest most skillful heavyweight around is just a waste of your time. We know and we don't care; Wlad and Vitali would still kick his ass. He's too short, and he has no punch. Ask yourself, did Byrd's skill help him one bit against Wlad back in 2000 when he got the **** kicked out of him?

First....if size and power are the biggest factors, why dont the big 7 footers win every fight? Oh yea...skill is important.

Lest we forget...smaller fighters often triumph over larger ones...with the main factor being that they have superior skill and speed.

Vitali vs. Toney would basically be two fighters at different ends of the spectrum.

Vitali being on the larger stronger end, Toney being on the smaller, faster, skillful end.

Toney has been having to overcome disadvantages in size and reach for a majority of his 17 year career, and will continue to do so.

Nobody is saying he is going to embarass one of the klits, but it would do you well to also respect the fact that Toney has a legitimate chance at beating either of the brothers if he approaches the fight in right way.

The great thing about opinions is that they can be right or wrong
