People do this everyday......do you watch CNN or FOX or MSNBC? They implie and they offer their opinions about people....why is Pac the only person in the US right now suing someone for defamation...it happens to stars, actors, entertainers, atheletes & celebs all the time...

Floyd is being a fool, if he decides not to give his deposition and turn up to court, the judge could continue the trial with Floyd being absent and that will not be good for Floyd as he won't be able to defend himself.

Pacquiao could be using PEDs all he likes, but unless the Mayweather's can provide evidence why they made theses claims, he will be on very shaky ground.

Going up through the weight classes and beating Hatton and Cotto, ain't really going to fly in the court.

The fact that Mayweather was a rival to Pacquiao not only in the boxing stake but as marketable figure in the sport, as well as the degatory comments made by the Mayweathers is evidence for Pacquiao that the Mayweathers made these comments maliciously.

Pacquiao also has to prove his reputation was tarnished, and the comments in the media as well on forums since the Mayweather's allegations show that it has.

Loss of earnings because of the Mayweathers campaign against Pacquiao is a little harder to calculate, but they could include all future endorsement deals and potential loss of earnings.

May more difficult to make a case for this, but If Floyd does not show up it makes Pacquiao's lawyers job much more easier.
