Is Pacquiao suing Roger, Floyd Sr. & Malignaggi?

Everybody listen. Manny filed the suit in December 2009, so you have to look at what Floyd said at that time. He didn't come out with that controversial video until late 2010, so that's not actually in the lawsuit although it can probably be used as evidence. Some people act like everything that was said from 2010 through now was actually in the lawsuit when that isn't the case. The actual lawsuit is based on a few weeks of negotiations in Dec. 2009.

I'm going to just leave it to the lawyers. Mayweather doesn't have to make any statements. Pac's team has the burden of proof. What that means is that they have to prove that PBF said that he knows that Pac has taken steroids. And then they have to prove that his statements did irreparrable harm to Manny's reputation. Proving slander is one of the hardest cases out there. Unless you have hard evidence with PBF claiming that he has some sort of roid evidence against pac, or something then I really don't see this case going anywhere.

Its a civil suit. Pacs lawyers dont have to PROVE anything. They just have to convince the judge and/or jury that it was more likely that the defendants knowingly made false statrments with malicious intent than it is unlikely.

No suit was made against Paulie, just the Mayweathers, Uncle Roger and Daddy Floyd too.

But the Judge is asking for Floyd's deposition, for him to give evidence under oath.

This is really nothing to do with Pacquiao, Floyd has to respect the law, if he can't, the law will make him.

Paulie was not sued because he made one or two silly statements, while the Mayweather have launch a campaign against Pacquiao, to try and discredit his standing in boxing.

Floyd is not going win this one, the only question is how much money will Pacquiao take off him.

From what I understand about defamation suits, Pacquiao only has to prove that Floyd's false, malicious statements led others who read them to believe that Pacquiao is actually on steroids, and that their opinion of Pacquiao has diminished as a result of those statements. Manny has no legal obligation to prove that he himself is clean; the onus is on Floyd to gather that evidence.

When *****s are constantly accusing Pacquiao of roids (just look at their avatars, signatures, and posts) they're actually proving that Floyd's accusations have led to widespread tarnishing of Pacquiao's image in the boxing community.

Why is Floyd being called to court and not Roger, Floyd Sr or Paulie Malignaggi.? They are the ones who have repeatedly said Pacquiao is on steroids while Floyd himself has never actually said Manny is on steroids. All I have heard Floyd say is " Lets BOTH take the test to prove we are both clean". I haven't heard Floyd directly say that Manny is on steroids.
