Give a logical reason why FMJ would keep his fight night weight a secret.

It doesn't matter. They both have to make an agreed upon weight. Once they do that, it's fair game.
So what if "atg fighter A" weighs 15 pounds more than "atg fighter B" on fight night? What, exactly, is "atg fighter B" going to do?
"Wait! Stop the fight! I can't be fighting a guy that's this much bigger than me!"
They both make the 147 lb limit, they are both WW's.Comment

You'll get no argument from me there. It IS annoying. But it's only important to people that want to argue on the internet.Well obviously he was and was much bigger but the fact that we have no unofficial weight makes it kind of annoying when some ppl on here want to still pretend he is this barely 150lb WW on FN which is clearly not the case anymore whether we have numbers to show it or not.
The gap in skill between Mayweather and Marquez was greater than the weight difference.
The guy beats fighters, because he's better than they are. Not because he's bigger (though, the Marquez fight was pretty clearly a joke).
If this were ANY other fighter in the world. ANY fighter not named Floyd Mayweather Jr., no one would say a word.Comment

Margarito challenged him, Paul Williams challenged him.
I hope Gamboa and Donaire doesn't challenge him, they might get their wish.
Year 2011:
Pacquiao is challenging him, Martinez is challenging him.....so what now? He need multiple tune-ups?Comment

Pretend that you're paying attention.
You implied that he challenged "a lightweight". I just corrected you. I never said Margarito didn't challenge him.Comment

It does matter. Maybe not to the fighter and his fans who try to hide how big his advantage would be against his opponent. It matters to the smaller fighter because if he wins, it will be on record that he beat an atg fighter who outweighed him by a big margin. Without that, history will assume that when they fought it was on even terms. It will also expose this fighter for what he really is.It doesn't matter. They both have to make an agreed upon weight. Once they do that, it's fair game.

I do not think that one of them would have no clothes on fight night weigh-in, so the margin of error on fight night weigh-in would be minimal.I am confident that Hatton outweighed Mayweather.
Unofficial weights don't mean much because alot of the fighters weigh in on fight night with all their clothes plus shoes an stuff. I only take stock in it if the fighter has weighed in on fight night at the same weight multiple times.Comment
