I think he did it his whole career until he fought Oscar who never puts up his fight night weight. When Oscar did it, Floyd then also did it for that fight and just decided to stay like that. Plus HBO said in one fight that they always weigh Floyd but he was mad at them this time and wouldnt allow them to do it. Mayweather was 148-149 against DLH at jmw on fight night, about 1-2 pounds less then in the weigh-in. At this stage of his career i'd imagine he's weighing in at about 152-154 on fight night.

Unofficial weights don't mean much because alot of the fighters weigh in on fight night with all their clothes plus shoes an stuff. I only take stock in it if the fighter has weighed in on fight night at the same weight multiple times.
