You do know 5'8" Joshua Clottey does that, right?

    Neck - Clottey 16 / PBF 16 1/2
    Chest - Clottey 38 / PBF 38 1/2
    Bicep - Clottey 14 / PBF 12 1/2
    Waist - Clottey 32 / PBF 31
    Reach - Clottey 70" / PBF "72

I'm not saying Floyd does, but guy's his size do it.

      1) Fight night weights have very little to do with betting odds. A lot of people will wait until they see the weigh in to lock in bets, but by the time they find out the fight night weights, bets are already placed. There's not enough time for it to effect the odds much at all.

      2) Mayweather didn't get credit for beating bigger men before, why the hell should he expect to get credit for it now? You don't need fight night weights to know that Mayweather was bigger than Marquez. Mayweather is a WW. So long as he weighs in within the WW limit, it doesn't matter what he weighs on fight night. You're just looking for a reason to put him on blast about something. And this "something", is just a ****** reason. He could blow up to 165 on fight night, and it simply doesn't matter. If he weighed in at 147 the night before, he is a WW, and his job is done.

When has Floyd ever had an 'unofficial' fight night weight higher than 152lbs?

So an "i don't want to" answer is logical enough for you...similar to "because I say so".

You mean to say that during the old days nobody can place bets after the weigh in?

What? Where the hell did I say that?

I said that by the time the fight night weights are announced, nearly all bets have been placed.

People like to see the weigh in, before placing the bets. They like to see the fighter. See if he looks drained, confident, etc. It's one of the most important times when betting on a fight.

Fight night weights have little to do with it.

So nobody should even mention that Margo was 17 lbs. heavier than Pac because it was not an advantage at fight night? Can you imagine what the outcome would have been if they were close to even in weight that night?
