Give a logical reason why FMJ would keep his fight night weight a secret.

1] So you would bet blind even if one fighter outweighs the other by as much as 15 lbs.? And you don't believe that difference in weights would be a factor in the betting odds?
2] If you are the smaller fighter, would you not want it in the record books that you beat an atg who weighed much more than you? Remember Armstrong v Garcia?
3] Where have you been lately?
4] Is that not what fans from both sides have been doing all this time?
2) Mayweather didn't get credit for beating bigger men before, why the hell should he expect to get credit for it now? You don't need fight night weights to know that Mayweather was bigger than Marquez. Mayweather is a WW. So long as he weighs in within the WW limit, it doesn't matter what he weighs on fight night. You're just looking for a reason to put him on blast about something. And this "something", is just a ****** reason. He could blow up to 165 on fight night, and it simply doesn't matter. If he weighed in at 147 the night before, he is a WW, and his job is done.Comment

1) Fight night weights have very little to do with betting odds. A lot of people will wait until they see the weigh in to lock in bets, but by the time they find out the fight night weights, bets are already placed. There's not enough time for it to effect the odds much at all.

I said that by the time the fight night weights are announced, nearly all bets have been placed.
People like to see the weigh in, before placing the bets. They like to see the fighter. See if he looks drained, confident, etc. It's one of the most important times when betting on a fight.
Fight night weights have little to do with it.Comment
