A boxing fan with common sense should make sure of his facts before he posts untruths. Manny P. only had ONE fight at 106, his very FIRST fight, he was a malnourished, growing 16 years old. Then in about 3-4 months, maybe 6, he was already a flyweight.

When he was KO'd he was a flyweight in a cut weight fight supposed to be at 110. He came in at 111, still under flyweight but drained.

Once Again Catering and FEEDING Pacquiao fans, Boxing Scene twisted the guy Quotes totally

When Hagler said he agrees with Pacquiao he was totally misinformed, he was thinking that Pacquiao would be the only one taking a Drug test but not Mayweather

Actually it doesn't sound like Hagler is against the Drug Testing at all, he actually said "HE HAS TO TAKE ONE TOO"...so basically he is saying "I am willing to take one as long as he takes one also"

that to me doesn't sound like Hagler is AGAINST THE DRUG TEST, he is just against it if only 1 Guy has to take it

So lets put the TRUTH OUT THERE and stop twisting the News to keep the Pacquiao fans happy...COME ON BOXINGSCENE!

How the **** do you agree to some terms when there is no offer?

If he agreed, why arent they fighting?

The time to agree was during negotiation. Not a few months after the first negotiations failed.

There were no second negotiations either. That was BS.

Good point, I suspect that is at least partly on the money.

I dont think that Hagler is all that fond of technicians.

Why would ANYONE object to random blood tests to ensure a level playing field?

This is all Top Rank and that's BS. Manny's been breaking rules so long why are rules important all of a sudden? This fight is so big it has to be negotiated and each fighter has a right to ask for what they want especially test to be sure the playing field is even.
Again you're talking nonsense. Whether fighters take OST or not it's still a dangerous sport, although I believe that about 5-10 times more guys are killed in football than boxing EACH YEAR regularly.

When a guy decides to become a fighter he KNOWS the risks, and also the RULES. And the rules say NO DRUGS, and he also knows that he is boxing under the State Commission rules.

That's ALL he nees to know and that's all he needs to do. Lost of guys are caught with the standard tests. When the Commissions think that the tests need overhauling they will overhaul them. If they don't there will be Senatorial investigations and Congressional Committee hearings, as has happened in the past.

So pac has his own right to say no let the NSAC do the testing! The problem is before they ask pacquiao about OSD the mayweather sr already accused pacquiao of taking something so he is already guilty in the eyes of mayweather. Catch weight in boxing is been there since sugar ray leonard and robbinson this is not new to sport of boxing! but asking for osd is really new to the sports specially the boxer never ask anybody since he start his pro boxing! see the logic!!!!
Why dont you do some research before you make comments like that ?

Cotto, flatly refused. Miguel stated "147 if you want my title, but no-title if you need a catchweight". Of course, Manny demanded a catchweight and the title, it became a sticking point to get the fight made, so Cotto was forced to concede, most likely because of pressure from Arum.

But even that was not enough for Pac, he demanded 143, even though his trainer Freddie Roach agreed to 144. Luckily for Miguel he stuck to his guns, or those cherry-picking ****s would have dragged him down to 143lbs.....

He was drained, and I am no longer a Pacquiao fan. Manny is tough.

The 10 mill was only a publicity stunt. mayweather deserves NO credit for agreeing, he makes 147 easily, ALWAYS has. He has NEVER had a single difficulty ever making weight.

Don't you KNOW this??? How much do you know about Mayweather??Very little it seems.

I'm fed up with these ****** posts, I can't stomach any more. You guys should learn something about boxing BEFORE you have the chutzpah to post, not learn "on the job" from others.
