He spent his whole long caree from start to finish with Top Rank, and when Don King made "nice" to his mother, causing her to try to persuade Hagler to sign with King, he told her that "if you try to interfere with my business again I'll stop supporting you".

    LOYALTY!

As a former fighter, any fighter that doesnt fully stand for OST is a total, hypocritical ass. Having fought in that ring Hagler knows the dangers. It's very clear that he is speaking as a Top Rank rep and not as a former fighter.
This is all Top Rank and that's BS. Manny's been breaking rules so long why are rules important all of a sudden? This fight is so big it has to be negotiated and each fighter has a right to ask for what they want especially test to be sure the playing field is even.

fighters of Haglers day never had to take these "random drug tests" they were fighters not concerned of the so called dangers you speak of. They were men of men and fought because they had to and wanted to. Now a days the danger is no different than it was back then. What you speak of is total nonsense. Gayweather has to put up or shut up. For a fighter labeling himself "Money Gayweather" he would be up for fighting for the most money of his career regardless otherwise he is just scared and making excuses.

I am not hating on Hagler. He has a right to his opinion, just like everyone on this site.

However, what Hagler refuses to admit and the ******s on this site fail to understand is that the person who controls the money dictates the terms of the fight. That is what happened with the fight between Sugar Ray Leonard and Hagler. Leonard was the big attraction/money producer, so Leonard dictated the terms. Leonard wanted the fight cut from 15 to 12 rounds and Hagler had no choice but to comply because he would have lost out on the biggest payday of his career if he didn't.

Again, whether the ******s on this site want to admit it or not, Pacquaio has done the same thing over the last few years. He demanded Cotto fight him at a catchweight. Cotto had to comply because Pac controlled the money because he was a big star. Pac wanted Cotto to drain himself to 143. Cotto refused, but Pac still got his catchweight fight. Pac wanted the fight Margarito at a 150-pound catchweight for a 154-pound title and he got what he wanted because Pac controlled the money. Pac tried to pull the same stunt against Hatton by demanding $1 million more for the fight than Hatton. Hatton refused because Hatton was the big attraction at that time, not Pac. Bob Arum realized this and decided to give Hatton the extra $1 million to make it a 50-50 purse or the fight would have never taken place.

In a Mayweather/Pac negotiation, Mayweather is the big money draw; therefore, Mayweather will dictate the terms. Pac can refuse to agree, and lose out on a $50 plus million purse or he can agree and make more money than he has made in his last three fights. Pac thought he could dictate the terms in the first negotiation. He ended up fighting for $12 million against Clottey while Mayweather made $30 million against Mosley.

In spite of his huge, Pac is not ******. He will realize after the Marquez fight that he has no choice but to agree to OST with no cutoff date. Why? Because the man (Money Mayweather) who controls the money dictates the terms!!!!

Hagler's stature just went from the FANTASTIC 4 of the 80s to the Hagler is an idiot and misinformed category.

*****S can't take it anymore. No one wants to be associated with Gayweather in real life. LOL

Now, Gayweather has to show up in court. Show up or admit you're wrong - Gayweather. He is rich anyway so they'll find a way for him to skip court. All us poor bastards have to show up in court unless your bank account exceeds 2 million dollars.

what part of Pac agreed to the terms in the second go round do you not understand? Now that pac has agreed Gayweather has said he wants 10 million just to talk about the negotiations. Furthermore in regards to your catchweight response, how come Pac in those fights came in 3 to 5 lbs under the weight? Weight wasnt an issue for him, he fought a naturally larger man and considerably beat them all at a lower weight.
