Btw Chups, Imdazed is just jealous of boxing fans that can afford to watch PPV. He can't use his food stamps to avail of a PPV.

Thanks for discussing this topic.............some posters are childish. They hurry up trying to outdo instead of just discussing. It's sad and childish.
Norris didnt get in because of his win over Leonard nor just his title defenses. he got in because hes one of the best 154lbers of all time and has a host of wins over good competition at that weight, including...

        Quincy Taylor
        Buster Drayton
        John Mugabi
        Rene Jacquot
        Donald Curry
        Jorge Fernando Castro
        Carl Daniels
        Meldrick Taylor
        Maurice Blocker
        Simon Brown
        Paul Vaden
        Vincent Pettaway

thats just sad, you need to learn what youre talking about.

            This really wasn't neccessary.

It's quite obvious Norris beating Leonard has very little to do with his HOF induction.

But I guess this post ends that argument either way.

Did he beat a Hall of Fame fighter? Yes! Was that HOF fighter 36 years old and fighting 14 pounds over his best weight class? Yes!

You can only give Floyd so much credit for the win. It's still careful matchmaking no matter how you slice it.

Mayweather gets no credit from me I knew he would dominate I knew it was too much for JMM to handle and the result was totally what I expected
                Shut...the...****..up!

Weight had absolutely NOTHING to do with the outcome of this fight. If floyd went out there and knocked JMM out, you'd have an arguement. BUt instead.. floyd fought the fight he's fought his entire career (actually, he threw more and with more pop (p4p) at 135, so jmm is lucky).

It's not like floyd was magically taller or faster at the weight. No one tied jmms hands behind his back. He'd get outclassed like that in ANY weight. You can ONLY make the arguement of weight if JMM at least hit floyd a few times to no avail. But instead, he couldn't even do that. Floyd wasn't too big... floyd was too good. He did nothing in that fight to impose his size and will. He just simply outclassed JMM.

I'd give Floyd credit for beating JMM yeah. If Marquez wouldve been even mildly successful against Floyd he'd have maybe had a few more fights at WW. But Floyd embarassed him and sent him packing back down to LW.

You will see that in JMM v Pac how good JMM can be at WW, and how good a job Floyd did on him. People think Marquez is going to put in the same performance he did against Floyd, which I doubt he will. Floyd had answer for everything Marquez tried EVEN BEFORE he tried it, where Pacquiao struggles with the angles of the counter punches Marquez throws.

You think Floyd had it easy against a 144lb Marquez?? Lets see how Pacquiao does and gauge it against that

funny..you're the one who sounds so butt-hurt here...
how could a piss-laden jmm lumbering around the ring hit a fraud running too fast from him and just keeps potshotting?
jmm was too bloated for his ideal weight at that time he can barely move yet floyd only keep potshotting despite his HUGE advantage?
