I think when he can hit you, he can knock you over. Bradley just kept mugging and smothering bent down with head low bobbing and weaving.. It left no pocket for Alexander to operate or pick his shots with. While Matthyse will keep coming and likely hit harder than Bradley, his pressure will have more holes. This fight has the makings of an exciting stoppage one way or the other. I'd still keep my money on Alexander till he falters again.

Exactly, Bradley's a crafty savy hard to hit fighter kinda like B-Hop to a lesser extent because Holt did tag him pretty badly but still overall to a less extent he's hard to hit with his style.

Devon is twice the fighter Zab is, he's younger, faster, stronger, and hits almost just as hard. Not to mention a better chin and Matthyse had a close fight with Zab. I just feel he's over matched here and plays right into Alexander's style. I can't wait! He's going to show the world why he was the #2 JWW in the world.

yeah OK...but now i think people are underrating him a little TOO MUCH and is giving up on the guy just like they did with Vic Ortiz

people forget these guys are EXTREMELY YOUNG in their Boxing Careers, most guys in boxing don't even reach their PEAK until they are in their LATE 20's and Early 30's in age, Devon Alexander, Vic Ortiz, Amir Khan, these guys are 24 YEARS OLD, they can and will continue to get better no matter who overrated people think they are because HBO hypes them


Yes Alexander was overrated after the URANGO FIGHT NO DOUBT, but just like Vic Ortiz was overrated and just like Khan is overrated, they are hyped for their POTENTIAL because HBO feel that these guys in a few years will be some of the best fighters...and I think they all can and will....INCLUDING ALEXANDER!

alexander isnt even comparable to judah, he isnt as fast, he's more predictable and he's green...

alexander is also a come forward fighter while judah's a counterpuncher

its hard to predict the outcome of the fight because both fighters have great chins, it might come down to heart and matthysse has proven to exceed alexander in that department
