Yea, I agree. I also thin he needs to really watch out for that right hand that's coming at him.

To win this fight Ortiz has to turn it into a street fight, and absolute brawl. Now I don't know how on earth you go about doing that with Floyd Mayweather's skill and intelligence, but that's the only way he wins outside of just landing a random bomb.

No one can force Floyd into a fire fight. Random bomb is the most likely for him. I just thought about something I've never seen someone do to Floyd. "Play Hookie". The only time he opens up is when he dazes his opponents. If he takes a decent right then he should fall into the ropes as if he were hurt. I think his hands are fast enough to catch Floyd off guard with a good left hook. Other than that he has to stay inside and place his punches strategicly to the body.

Is it possible for Ortiz to have a gameplan from round to round to sort of speak offset Mayweathers adjustments. What I see in many of his opponents is they get into rhythm and once he finds their rhythm he picks them apart. My thing why not really have a couple of gameplans but have one from round to round and never fight in any sort of rhythm.

Although that might be uncomfortable for Ortiz it may also be somewhat confusing to Mayweather. I know getting in some sort of rhythm for a boxer is important for confidence but boxers who fight with no set rhythm like Mayweather himself frustrate even the best boxers. So why isnt no one really ever tries against Mayweather.

Ortiz could go hard first two rounds using he strengths right hook and the left straight primarily and switch up and use a jab and fients to throw the straight. Just keep giving him different looks round making sure he close the rounds strong with flurries and possibly steal them.

Yeah...i hate to say it but he really has to make it a fight a war! But here is the catch it has to be a measured war. If he can get Him into something that looked like the early rounds of the Chop Chop fight... he's headed in the right direction i think. If he can add ripples of boxing slickness he's in the right ball park i think. But ultimately i think there needs to be a choice made outside of the ring like he did in the Berto fight. The will to do whatever it takes to win.

2) A southpaw jab has never troubled Floyd or backed him up. A southpaw's jabbing hand is extremely close to an orthodox fighter's lead hand, Floyd easily counters southpaw jabs with a left hook over the top.
