Cheato was brought to a decision from a guy who worked the grave yard shift at filibertos. Thats the only win he has since he had been caught cheating. Cotto is going to tax him this time.....no doubt.

my prediction for the first fight was Marg by BRUTAL KO....I had to put emphasis on BRUTAL because I felt like Margs style and power was too much for Cotto...seeing Shane back Cotto up had me thinking Marg was just the wrong animal for Cotto.....nothing hasn't change except BOTH dudes have a deposited a few more ass whippings....Marg's being the worst....BOTH have shown signs of being on the slide....but I think these 2 could ALWAYS bring the fire to face each other...PR vs Mexico...that ALONE is enough for them to bring it...oh man, I love this rivalry....my head says Marg beats Cotto 8 outta 10 times....my heart hopes this is one of the 2 times Cotto could win...I want Cotto to get his revenge plus I wanna see if he can take the shots better...you know, this would end all su****ions about the'08 dance...at least for me .....I rolling with Cotto all day in this one....and VERY interested to see how Steward programs Cotto to fight this one

Sergio had around 16-18 fights, Margarito had 23, 3 of them were LOSES. That's not really much of a difference if you are talking about "seasoned pro" Both were green whether you like it or not, you're also forgetting Margarito didn't really have an amateur career as well.

I'm not sure how many fights they had, I just know that Martinez had only been boxing for a couple of years, and Margarito had been fighting for about 6 or 7 years. I was sure Margarito had more fights than that.

That is largely irrelevant anyways because it happened a decade ago. The point is that Margarito is nothing, and truth be known, possibly never was anything..... and Martinez is the undisputed middleweight champ, and the man from 154-160. It is obvious that fight would be a mismatch, Margarito has never been near where Martinez is at right now.

Come on man, it is pretty obvious what happened in the Cotto fight, and probably the last Cintron fight as well.

Sorry, but you are crazy if you think that Margarito is still a good fighter, and he likely never was.

If you want to bring up comparisions in opposition, I think that a more accurate analysis would be..... the limited Margarito, got exposed by the limited Williams, who himself got exposed by Quintana.

I have a feeling Margarito takes this again though, people are forgetting Cotto isn't exactly in his prime either now. You can't compare what happened with Pac and say Tony is gonna get killed now. Cotto is a much easier target, Margarito will come in sick shape as always and walk him down for 12.
