Well if he said that he was being a fool. Especially silly for him to say that given that Martinez' biggest win was against a 6'1" fighter (who is also campaigning above his natural weight class).

Williams is 6'3", and his best weight is 154-160 imho.

I have never really considered that giraffe a welter.

Even accounting for his height, the top SMW's would murk him.

Froch would use him for a hanky.

Not enough love on here for El Maravilla !

It's not his fault paper 'champions' want to wait 'til he's older and avoid him.

In Dzin and now Barker, Sergio is fighting talented guys who could pick up belts in this modern era.
Just 'cos you "never heard of this guy, Barker" doesn't make him crap. He's mentally right, coming to win and a talented unbeaten European Champion.
In pure boxing terms he won't be outclassed by Sergio, he should give us at least 5 rounds of fairly even fighting.

Then Sergio's amazing talent will figure him out, break him up and take apart because... THAT'S WHAT SERGIO DOES TO DECENT FIGHTERS.

Credit Barker for going away from home to try and beat the world number 1 and don't blame Sergio for being avoided.
        Good fight.
