      Resumes are subjective also,you look at dlhs record he has Chavez and Whitacker real fans know they were past prime,but how will it look in 30 years.fighters of past eras have little amount of footage to really tell how great they were.In the common mans eye dlh was greatest since Leonard we as boxing buffs know different.

              how much footage do you have on these guys,everyone you list is 80s and before like many historians you overrate their colective accomplishments.

                Some fighters smoke and drink today, most didn't back then, point void, not that it even matters that much, performance in the ring is all that matters.

                  Monzon
                  Greb
                  Robinson
                  Hagler
                  Fitzsimmons

                  Are all catergorically greater Middleweights than Bernard Hopkins.

                  To go further we have;

                  Ketchel
                  Burley
                  Tiger
                  Lamotta

                  Who I all have above Hopkins at Middleweight personally.

                  There is most definitely a strong argument for him being in the Top 10 at MW. I have him at #10.

                  But Top 5? Like I said. No chance.

                  Other fighters who could argubally be above him are;

                  Cerdan
                  Steele
                  Flowers

                  etc etc etc.

                    Pac and Floyd, Pac is the greater fighter. He's resume and accomplishment is greater than Floyd. However, Floyd is the better fighter, he's more skilled. And, in a H2H match up Floyd probably would win. But, if we're talking about who's greater. It's Pac.

                    And, there is others. Like Ricardo Lopez who's very skilled. Maybe the best most skilled little man of all time. But, he's resume is not that great. That makes it very hard to rank him.

                    We really don't know how good skilled Greb. I haven't seen any tapes of his fights. So we don't know how good he was. We have some kind of idea but really don't know. However, we know how great he was because of his resume.
