Those of you who are saying Ortiz has no chance are jokes. Real talk you guys act like Floyd is some god. I like Floyd but I give Ortiz a 40% chance of winning this for legit reasons.

Reason 1: Judah is a southpaw that moves his head and troubled Mayweather. Ortiz to is a southpaw that moves his head and packs more power than Judah. The thing is Judah gassed out which is why he lost.

Reason 2: De La Hoya as a bigger opponent pressured Mayweather. Ortiz will come to fight night as big as Oscar was when he faught Mayweather. The difference is that Ortiz will not gas out, and he will have the leg speed to cut off the damn ring. Not to mention Oscar did not move his head. He was a stalking statue.

Reason 3: Mayweather's last test was against a 5'4" Ricky Hatton. Ortiz is a 5'9", 161 pound tank that has punch volume at WW. After that Mayweather faught a blown up Marquez and a 37 year old Mosley that hurt him. Ortiz is coming off a good victory over Berto and mediocre performances prior to that, but those were at a weight where he was not that good at.

Watching Maidana, Peterson, Berto its very obvious Ortiz is a sucker for right hand bombs and pull counters. He doesn't move his head and he doesn't know how to hold. I think he's very green. Is the only way he wins if is if he gets lucky? Mayweather has this one in the bag. Very smart choice of opponents. The dude knows boxing.
To beat Mayweather is first your condtion must be great. Victor has size so Floyd won't be able to move him with his elbow like he did Hatton and Marquez. Rough him up push and maul him into the ropes, Hit him every where when he does his shoulder roll don't worry about hitting him on the head **** his shoulders as hard as you can. Keep on hitting his shoulder sockets. When you throw your straight left Floyd will go into a shoulder roll to counter with a right or right upper cut. You must lean to your right or step to your right to make him miss and you must **** his ribs with right hooks as he turns his body than follow up with a left upper cut. That is why Manny is a bad match for him cause Manny does this all the time. If you hurt Mayweather stay on him **** his body than head don't head hunt. This is how I would train Victor for this fight. Mayweather is a hype job who carefully selects has beens or smaller guy's ever since Castillo gave him a beat down. He belives Victor will mentaly break that is why he was chosen. Lets hope Victor knocks his Monkey ass out.

I think Pacquiao's left cross would not land on Mayweather cuz Manny doesn't have much reach. It would be a pull and counter right cross all night for Mayweather. Ortiz has a better shot at landing that at a slightly slower speed but with a reach advantage. Not to mention he has a heavier punch.

Its not outside the realm of possibility.

Floyd is eventually going to get hit. By a legit fighter that actually fights at this weightclass. Im very interested to see how he approaches this.

A few reasons I think it could be interesting:

              1. Floyds vaction/Layoff
              2. Legit, although greeeeeen, opponent. Fully comfortable at this weight. (And huge to boot)
              3. Ortiz wont gass out.
              4. Isnt afraid to get hit, or get off the deck to keep fighting.
              5. If Floyd sees this as a warm up for Manny...
              6. Ortiz has decent hand speed and decent pop.

              That being said....

Floyd is better in every catagory there is.

I honestly see it coming down to Ortiz's lack of mental toughness. If Maidana hurts you, frustrates you, and makes you quit.

              Floyd certainly can.
the difference between vic vs pbf and the vic vs maidana bouts is the payday, perks and rise in star status if ever vic be able to put away the 0 in pbf's record...also more money in possible fights with pac and other rated fighters......motivation is the key

Ortiz' only mistake is when he leads with the left cross especially when he tries to move in short distances while leading with it. If he can glue that left hand to his face and lead with a faint right jab or right hook and throw the left cross he can pull this **** off...I see Ortiz penetrating Mayweather's defence with a lead right uppercut though

Imma take Ortiz by late TKO.

I just feel that at some point, despite losing most of the rounds, Ortiz catches Floyd doesnt see coming.

And since he is being hit by what is essentialy a middleweight.....

I think he gets stuck, does the crazy chicken leg Zab judah dance....right until Ortiz finishes him with a left that puts him on his rear.

Ref immediately waves off the fight.

                    War Underdogs.

Every fighter has a chance but Ortiz's is very very slim.
