Against a quicker, but smaller, puncher, Wlad will be looking to control the fight by establishing the perimeter with his jab, and to make Haye pay for his mistakes when he is open..... so that he can at least safely grind out a decision if he cant batter Haye down over the course of the fight.

But he will be wary of Haye's power, and he will take a couple of rounds to settle, as usual.

I say dont let him settle, dont let him establish the perimeter, and dont let him control the distance or the pace of the fight.

Haye may have to take a few risks in order to get his game going, because he does not want to spend the night impaled on the end of Wlad's jab.

The longer that fight goes, the less chance Haye will have imho.

My pick, Wlad by late TKO, if Haye cant get him out of there early..... Wlad.
I see it exactly the same, even as a Wlad fan I don't like how shakey he looks early on before he knows what he is doing is working in fights.

Haye can't just circle on the outside, use his speed to try and dodge the jab, and try to pick his power shots carefully. This will let Wlad get comfortable, adjust to his gameplan, and will reduce Haye's chances of landing big hurting Wlad or at the very least putting the doubt in Wlad's mind ruining his usual routine.

hayes best chance imo is within the first 6 rounds, as you say wlads got a dangerously suseptable chin to be slow starter. Once hes weathers the storm he will destroy haye, but one thing ill give haye credit for is punch accruacy.

Itsd intrigueing fight...i give it 80/90 percent in wlads favour.

I think there are degrees between wanting to beat a guy down, and totally losing your cool. Wlad's never lost it, so far as I'm aware, or totally abandoned his form in an effort to knock a guy out. Wlad clearly dislikes Haye immensely (I don't know why, he seems like a perfectly charming little fellow) but I don't think he's going to let these antics throw him out of his gameplan, or drastically alter the way he normally fights a fight. If anything, I think it's going to sharpen his often blunted killer instinct, and that doesn't help Haye in the slightest.

Iron Mike knows what's up. Everybody hyping Haye up now will just be saying he's a bum after the fight and that it proves nothing. Haye is an ok HW and title holder, just like Chagaev or Ibragimov were, nothing more, nothing less.

That's exactly what he said, mate - he said Haye didn't earn the right to fight Wlad and that he shouldn't last more than 2 rounds with him.

Nothing personal, those are Mike's thoughts on the fight.

No, it isn't, because he's not basing his prediction off Haye's unpaid dues at HW.

                  His statements are seperate,

Haye hasn't paid his dues, doesn't deserve the fight (in Mike's opinion).

Haye will get starched (in Mike's opinion).

At any rate, the only prediction Wlad needs to make come true is his prediction that he will make Haye KO victim number 50. The rest is ultimately irrelevant.
Haye is a dirty ape stuck in evolution chain, who acts like this? He either has huge emotional problems or a low IQ. Maybe both.

Tyson doesn't follow boxing much anymore, last year when interviewed he didn't even know anything about Haye. Sorry to say but his opinion don't mean **** because he hasn't watched Haye fight.
