Do you have a more recent example? If not, then, for all you know, Mike's seen Haye.

And most of your rent-a-Brit Hayebooster peers here talk like they never saw Wlad fight ('slow', 'bad footwork' etc), so what's the difference?

Regardless, Mike's opinion still >>>>>>> yours and R(et)a(r)do's.

Wlad has totally dominated every round of every fight for the last five years, including against several opponents who were better than anyone Haye has yet faced.

And Sanders wasn't a bum - on his day he was an explosive fighter, and he had a career-best performance that night, akin to Douglas vs. Tyson.

This is a statment many people often forget. Sanders was called The Sniper for a very good reason....If you got hit with that left, you were ***ing done, no matter who you were or what your chin was like.

Unless you were an extraterrestrial being called Vitali who could eat that left more than once.

I agree, though, Sanders was a dangerman.

          Yea, Vitali's chin is granite.

Remember, Vitali's NEVER even been knocked down.

Did he lose the sparring match? I'm just wondering how it even matters that he went down in sparring. Sparring has nothing to do with a real fight.

I remember hearing about this. Was right around the time of the Rahman fight, if I'm not mistaken.

I've always wondered about it's veracity since, in all his pro fights, Vitali's never been put down, and yet somehow, in sparring gear, no less, a sparring partner manages to do it not once, but twice.

I think this belongs in the realm of "pics or it didn't happen"

People always brag about knocking people down in sparring, most of the time it's fake and we all know what would happen in a real fight.

I've also heard that Haye has been knocked cold in sparring a few different times, so what goes around comes around.

I actually agree with your point, but terrible example.

Sparring doesn't count bro. Sparring is just that, sparring, I would be more concerned if my fighter was not getting a hard time during sparring.
