Yup, he's that good. Which is why it bugs me how inactive he's been. He'd easily be top 10 ATG by now but chose not to be. Now he gotta play catch instead of being where s'posed to be. Hopefully its not too late for him.

      When will Floyd step up?
The bold is skill, you could have just said skill advantage which I already acknowledged.

The rest are athleticism, except for experience. No need to spread everything in a list to make it look like a lot of advantages.

"Floyd has the skill and athleticism advantages" that's all you had to say.

And I agree, but you are leaving out other important factors, which I already mentioned.

Judah was a slick and fast southpaw. Those are the kinds Floyd has "struggled" with. Ortiz is slow and flatfooted and isn't a traditional southpaw.

I approve of the fight but the style match up favours Floyd heavily.
Floyd has the style advantage, I can agree with you on that one.

Mayweather gets a lot of HATE from Fans and the Media...but none of them are that ****** enough to not recognize the man SKILLS, also his work ethic and dedication when he is preparing for a fight...HBO 24/7 all we usually see is the Pad Work with Floyd but he works WAY HARDER THEN THAT

nobody has to tell Floyd to go work out, nobody has to call him and remind him that he has to be at the gym at a certain time, that is just WHAT HE DOES

he works out 3 in the morning while his opponent is probably SLEEP, most of Mayweather's criticism is for what he does outside of the ring and the Criticism he does take in the ring is mostly because of how good he is, of course a fight will be boring when it is one guy doing what ever the hell he wants and the other guy is struggling just to land a clean punch on him

Of course the people who hate him are HOPING that he is Rusty because they want to see him lose SO BAD, but the way he trains, I don't see rust being a factor...maybe if he was one of those guys that didn't work hard and loved to Party and got to Night Clubs while he is training then yeah maybe things would be A LOT DIFFERENT

This is the problem with many of you motherfuckers. Anything Mayweather does, he could have done better. Give me another boxer who after a lay off of 16 months comes back to challenge a newly crowned boxer after putting the best performance in his career? Go ahead I can wait.

You guys seem to think more of Mayweather than his actual fans to expect him to have a breeze against Ortiz.

You can be better a some skills and have an advantage but have an disadvantage on other skills.

If Floyd fought Pacquiao or Martinez they would have more advantages.

Ortiz does not have many advantages, maybe thats why he picked him.

Did someone force him to take 16 months off?

                Just wondering.

Floyd would beat Ortiz, and Ortiz would be a better fight after that fight

Pacquiao would beat up Ortiz, and Ortiz would be ruined.

Vitali came back after 4 years out of the game and won the WBC Heavyweight championship.

Floyd is fighting someone that got out boxed by Petterson 6 month ago.

I think Floyd is #1 on almost everybody's list who has a OVERSTANDING on how to box...as far as being the most skilled or most talented in the game atm....so that brings a certain form of expectation to the table when Floyd is involved....I was pissed when B.Hop was the underdog for the Pavlik and first Pascal fight....I KNEW BOTH dudes were in over their head but the odds didn't agree with me and I was a lil' heated because I felt my dude was being disrespected to the fullest....but like I said...Floyd is Mr. Perfect in the ring and his record reflects that....so of course ppl will think Mr. Perfect has all the advantages even if he's older and inactive going up against a younger active opponent with dynamite in both hands...dam, Floyd is a beast in the eyes of many...some will say it openly outta respect and others will hide it behind their hate...it is what it is...Floyd is a special talent and only a hater will say otherwise
