I still don't understand why Khan and his people think he's this great champion, he's an up and comer with only one little title. No one wants to fight him cause his figures are bull**** and he wants to fight the hard fights in the UK where he knows he'll get the win in a decision just as long as he don't get ko'd again.

I bet golden boy went into negotiations and tried throwing there weight around like they were dealing with hbo, and sky told them to f off.
This is a terrible move by Kahn, there is nothing a young fighter needs more than exposure. Ricky hatton didn't make bank because he was great, he made bank because he crazy exposure there and was selling arenas out left and right.
Golden boy needs to fix this.

You never fail to post in a Khan thread you damn hater.
As for Khan being big, he is the second best fighter at 140 now. He has backing from GBP, HBO and a trainer in Roach.
The kid won a title at a younger age than Bradley has done.
He makes money. His figures aren't **** fool.
Peterso. Would have had 300k, he got 100k vs ortiz.
Maidana got a career payday high if 550k.
Paulie got 400k I think.
At the end of the day, there are fights for titles, that make like 50k. Some less.

HBO makes a lot of money from SKY, SKY made a deal with HBO to buy all HBO shows. HBO aren't going to fuck with SKY for anyone.

Seems like Team khan pisses everyone off with their negotiating skills. I think its time for Amir to cut family ties before they burn every bridge and get stranded. Every opponent seems to have problems when dealing with this so called team, alex aria had problems, and now Sky... starting to seem like a pattern. Amir just has to realise that the world doesnt revolve around him and just be a fighter and quit complaining so much.

IF golden boy wish to irreparable damage relations with the largest and most significant sports network in the UK they should carry on. Sky will not be the loser I guarantee that.
It is also about damn time Sky and HBO for that matter stopped paying and putting on crap ppv cards. I hope this becomes presidence.Last edited by rich6666; 06-09-2011, 08:32 PM.

no1 is saying sky is gonna be the loser, how can they when they make so much money? what im saying is i can see the sky cards getting real **** with not much big american cards on, oscar already said he is gonna do more buisness with primetime, why not move some of the big american mayweather cards to primetime and get ppv money instead of a one off payment from sky, thats what i would do, would show sky who calls the shots and could probably stand to make more money, all be it to a smaller audiance,,
