Look Manny won every round and it was a one sided fight but that's not saying it was easy. Marg landed shots...

I think prime Marg beats Ortiz easily. Now, I don't know, it would be interesting because Ortiz is a lefty and so fast. I don't think he could hold on for 12 rounds because the Tornado only gets stronger as the fight goes on.
Margarito with his plaster destroys Ortiz, and Manny.

Margarito without his plaster gets destroyed by just about anyone with power.

He got beaten to a pulp vs Mosley and Manny. He stunk it up in the comeback. He couldn't knock out the comeback guy so I question the word "power". Stamina just because he took an a$$ whoopin from Manny? OK i'll give you that.

And factor in he has been out a long long time Its hard to say Marg would be the betting favorite right now.

Secondly, Shane is the hardest hitting WW since Trinidad and it was only after repeated bombs that Mosley was able to put Margarito away. Ortiz doesn't have that power and he also isn't as good as Shane at clinching.

Ortiz has a mediocre chin, great boxing skills but can't handle pressure. With that said, if you can't back up Margarito and stop him from coming forward, he will break you down. Just boxing him, like Cintron, Cotto and Martinez tried to do will not work and that basically what Ortiz will attempt to do.
Fair points. I just don't know if Marg is the betting favorite if they fight. Marg would be coming off a brutal beating. Who knows what happens when he starts getting hit again.

Margarito hit Manny to his face about 500 times in that fight and couldn't inflict ANY damage whatsoever. Clottey hit him twice and his face looked completely ***ed. Margarito has NO power without his wraps. Pacquiao buckling from a body shot is more likely a weakness to his body than Margarito's power.
Yes he almost dropped Manny and had him in serious trouble. I was at the fight and saw in up close.

Also, Clottey has great power at WW. He had Tony hurt in their fight, so I don't get why you trying to imply that Clottey is featherfisted.

You need to watch more boxing instead of just following Floyd.

Every single opponent Ortiz has faced has tasted the canvas. I don't think Ortiz is a great fighter, but to say this guy doesn't have power is just complete nonsense/ignorance.

Listen bro, the only guy Margarito can "breakdown" without his plaster wraps is Paulie Malignaggi. He has zero power now and his "pressure" is useless. He was RUNNING from Roberto Garcia, a journeyman...
