Its tiring hearing people just hate. No matter what Mayweather does, people are going to criticize him and to be fair, its the same thing with Manny. Fake boxing fans will always criticize these two guys and it sucks because it messes up the sport.

Even some of the most vocal boxing analysts that have criticized Mayweather for his past selections give him credit for picking Ortiz but like i said before, fake boxing fans will always hate no matter what.

Lol. Whatever dude. You picked this guy because he's a vulnerable non elite fighter who just happened to win a belt against a soft prospect that was overpaid and overhyped by HBO.

Does anybody remember when Victor Ortiz was backing up against a feather fisted Lamont Peterson who Timothy Bradley dominated? That's not to mention the quit job against a tough, but one dimensional guy who an old Erik Morales came a lot closer to beating.

I know sound like I'm being too hard on Victor Ortiz based on my previous posts since this fight was announced. Because he did overcome some adversity to beat Berto. And I even said right after that fight that he deserved a fight against a somewhat big name down the line. But getting an immediate shot at someone like Mayweather is just overkill to me. Real talk.

When did I praise Pacquiao for the fights he has taken? In fact I've given him the same exact criticism. But to be honest I think the guys you are mentioning namely Berto, Ortiz, and Alexander are way worse than the guys Pacquiao fought. Bradley probably would've been the toughest one so I'll give you that. But me not heaping the same criticism on Pacquiao that I am Floyd is just pure crap.

Seriously, how can you say Ortiz doesn't deserve a shot at Mayweather. Isn't he the champ and Mayweather hasn't fought for 16 months. If Ortiz doesn't deserve a shot then both Margarito and Mosley damn sure didn't deserve a shot at Manny.

NO its not. He IS a champion at WW. If anyone is thankful it REALLY should be Mayweather, he's irreverent and hasn't fought in 16 months.

In no way does Floyd deserve to fight a champion by not fighting for 16 months. That's the problem with boxing. Nobody earns shyt anymore. Clottey, Margarito, Mosley? WTF have they done in the last 3 years to earn shyt? What has Mayweather done to get a title shot?

Ortiz, as a champion at WW should be fighting the best which technically is Pac. Pac didn't want this Champion just like he didn't want Berto at WW, Bradley or Alexander at JWW or Martinez at JMW. No he wanted in house fighters like Clottey, Margarito and Mosley who haven't looked good or even won fights in nearly 3 years. Yet you want to talk about who Mayweather picked? Or say that Ortiz isn't good enough? He's a champion and champions should be fighting the best. Ortiz deserves this fight and its amazing how easy it was for him to just say yes without a million excuses.

I think the experience and skill level difference is too big. Floyd is past his prime but I'd still favor him, he's in a different league.

How is Floyd pure crap? Mosley? #1 WW... Ortiz #2/#3 WW? Now JMM at WW, yeah thats crap BUT Pac's now being the copy cat. Hatton? AWESOME fight I waited for and called it to a "T". Hatton was just pure shyt anyhow but a GREAT match up and HUGE fight. Pac vs Hatton was complete and utter shyt and called that but said Pac would have him out a round or 2 later. De La Hoya? lol I had Hoya beating Mayweather and I called Hoya losing badly vs Pac. Check my stats, I callem pretty well.

Pac since 2008 is complete in house shyt fights. Cotto was about the only thing solid and I ONLY say this because I edged Cotto to win a decision even after being beaten to near death by Margarito and being forced to fight Pac at a CW.

Anyhow, it doesn't matter what people think. Champions should be fighting champions. The best vs the best and right now Ortiz (like Berto was) is one of the best at WW regardless of what you think, yet again Pac ducks these guys and fights someone else. This time, JMM at WW, something Mayweather was (rightfully) already bashed for doing.
