Exactly, all risk no reward for Pac or May they both got their 154 title and left the weight class immediatly for a reason. Pac and May are in the position that other fighters chase them for glory not the other way around. These two were champs in the 90's Martinez does NOTHING for their legacy. WW is their full grown weight class people forget how small they were. I'd bet money that Pac and May walk around under 160 and most JMW walk around at 170 or more.

          So **** is like saying....

...Pac/Jr will never happen. Unless, Golden Boy are planning to screw Ortiz the same way they did Marquez. **** should really join Oscar. Jr is doing something good for the Sports and at the same time exciting the fans once again while **** head is trying to kill it.

Why are they picking Victor Ortiz for Mayweather next fight. Exposure alone will tell us the outcome of this fight. Ortiz does not have the experience to fight the likes of Fraud Maynever and that was proven when Ortiz fought Maidana. All boxing aficionados knows that Manny Pacquiao almost knock the hell out of this boy during their sparring. This guy is a damaged commodity as we saw it during his fight with Andre Berto. Come to your senses Floyd, fight Manny Pacquiao. The whole world is yearning to see you fight the best.

Obviously Roach is probably right. What did you expect Schaefer to say? That GBP's biggest name is being offered as a sacrificial tune up fight for Mayweather? What Schaefer's probably saying to Ortiz is this is his chance to make it big. And to Mayweather he probably offered him as a good tuneup before Pacquiao.

Your crazy. Victor is a cool guy but he isn't anywhere near Floyd's skill and strength nor Pacquiao's speed. Heart, he doesn't come close to neither.

Victor is a tune up. He is just a high class tune up. Like going to Top Secret to get your dyno done instead of Pep Boys.

On Topic: I don't see why it's a big deal. If he did, so what? if he didn't so what? We all know what it's going to take for Pacquiao to fight Floyd. So unless i hear some real deal shyt from Pacquiao during negotiations, I don't believe Pacquiao's camp about a fight happening.

Pac is fighting Marquez as a tune-up before fighting Floyd Jr.

Freddie is right that's also my opinion, Floyd is prepairing for Manny and Ortiz is too inexperience for the caliber of Floyd. This only sparing match up.

I guarantee you that Ortiz is stronger than Mayweather.

I would also bet my life that Ortiz has at least as much heart as May or Pac.

I know exactly what happened to Ortiz in the Maidana fight, and it will never happen again.

I firmly believe that Ortiz would have kept the promise that he made before the Berto fight..... he said that he fully expects to have both eyebrows split wide open with blood gushing down his face, but he will never stop, he will never quit, and Berto is going to have to kill him to stop him.
