Ps Kirkland has to be one of the stiffest fighters I've ever seen. It was only a matter of time before so done iced him. It's not his chin that's the problem, he's just to stiff and too straight forward.

I don't say this in a racist way, but he fights like a white boy. No rhythm at all. He has a very short window to do anything in this sport.

This happened last Tuesday, the guy that Kirklands sparring in the video came to my gym yesterday and his face is still ****ed up. And for anybody asking, this isnt Brian Vera.

So is he back with Ann (that was her in the background right?)?

          This has peaked my interest...

I could have sworen I saw something about Ann wanting to train him again after the KO. I could be wrong though.

After watching this again. I am kinda sickened at Kirklands performance. He showed a total lack of respect to the other guy. Big props to that guy for taking his biggest punches and not going down. Kirkland really is a piece of crap, I enjoy watching him fight but after this I will struggle to support him. You would think he would be taught so humility after the beating he took in his last fight. Yet he has not.

lack of respect? you ever box man?

**** that glove touching and respect ****. When the bell rings, do your thing. I've always been told, no touching gloves, no talking, no nodding, no nothing. You hug, kiss, shake hands, pat each other on the ass, do whatever AFTER the work is done.

Kirk did what he is trained to do. REspect no one, be a killer. This is the hurt business, that Shane Mosley glove touch after every clinch has no place in the ring.

I agree. I don't watch boxing for guys to be soft and hug/touch gloves. Show me you are ferocious and have heart, then touch gloves or hug it out after the fight, or don't, I don't really care.

                  Have you? Your an idiot!

The guy was hurt , under most circumstances you dont try and finish a sparing partner. Its about getting work, sometimes hard work but that crap he did was weak.

What don't you clowns understand. Sparring doesn't mean " lets touch gloves and play pity pat". Sparring means "lets simulate the fight, so we're prepared going into it". I wouldn't want anyone hitting me with pitty pat **** all camp long - because then I wouldn't be prepared for the real thing. You guys know **** about boxing, it's that simple. The man is trained to be a killer, he needs to embody and enforce his will in everything he does, even in sparring - in order to make sure it comes out full force in real competition as well.

As far as do i box? Yes, I have and still do.

Thats me on the end.. Schulers Gym. Train with Chambers and Cunningham. Spent a good deal of time at Harrowgate with the likes of Danny Garcia and now I'm at kingsessing.

I repeat. Kirk did exactly what he is trained to do. Thats exaclty how we spar here in philly. All the glove touching and respect ****, after the work. We're not in there to make friends. You train the way you fight. It's that simple. Anne Wolfe is old school, thats how she wants her fighter to work and thats what he does. There is no referee during sparring. There are two trainers. 1 trainer may have his guy treating sparring like it's a playground, the other might have his guy treating sparring like it's a battlefield. When you're in there working, you need to work hard.. or else you'll get caught slipping.
