You clearly don't know boxing but you sure know a lot about hype.

    Ask yourself:

Why does Pacquiao ONLY fight guys who just lost?

Why does Pacquiao use catchweights in a division where he can make the weight?

Why are the majority of Pacquiao's paper titles vacant or interim belts? You do know what that means, right? It means that Pacquiao wasn't fighting the champion in the division in which he got a belt!

Look at Pacquiao's last 6 opponents. They all have big names, but at the point when Pacquiao was willing to face them they had all lost, dropped in rank and had no title. Many of them lost after having to cut weight even though Pacquiao could make 147lbs, and one was even banned at the time they fought, so Arum greased some palms so that Texas would look the other way.

Are you kidding me? ALL OF THAT doesn't set off any red flags in your tiny little mind? The fact that out of Pacquiao's glorious 8 divisions titles, many of them being vacant and interim belts, doesn't factor in that his so-called dominance of the sport is a manufactured media hype job? The fact that Pacquiao hadn't fought anyone YOU know until his 41st fight doesn't mean anything to you? That's some EXTRA THICK PADDING!!

You should really learn something about the man you're defending before you make an ass out of yourself.

That "he's a little guy" excuse is old and tired. He's 2" shorter than Mayweather and Mosley. He's not a little guy anymore and hasn't been for years. Pacquiao just gets special treatment because he uses that excuse to justify using catchweights at 147lbs ... a weight he could always have made.

If Mosley or Floyd .. hell any boxer would have pulled this ****, they would have been beheaded by the media. ****, I would prefer Pacquiao be on drugs rather than have such a shady record and then claim to be the a top boxer.
    Good post man.

The commentators did. The writers did. Bloggers did. We all acknowledged that DLH came in huge for that fight, and that's why he refused to be weighed on fight night.

The official division weight was for 154lbs division, but DLH re-hydrated and blew up for his fight with Floyd. Go back and watch the fight dude. You'll see for yourself. DLH DID NOT come in at 154lbs that night. He was easily 20lbs heavier than that and you could see it. DLH walks around at heavier than 185lbs. He easily got back to 175lbs for that fight that night.

However he came in 145lbs for his fight with Pacquiao. Its not the same feat. That's my point. Check it out, my man. You'll see.
I think they said De La Hoya weighed 160 on fight night and Floyd weighed 148.

i've hoped that this fight will never happen. i'm just so sure that this fight will be recorded as one of the most boring fights in the history of boxing. it's easy to imagine what a reluctant fighter would do in the ring -- run for his life the entire fight. you'll basically be paying for something worthless.

fans expect zest and enthusiasm from fighters for facing a challenge. this fight should be fought for the love of the sport, for the fans, for legacy and for the challenge of defeating the best especially when you know that everyone in all corners of the globe will be watching. instead what we see is pu$$iness. latest demand is $100 million.
