i dont, mayweather has never fought a fighter like ortiz in his prime.

a boxer puncher/brawler with power - southpaw, and with heart.

when he did, he didnt look too good.

that being said mayweathers still more likely to win, but i think ortiz has a shot.

true, but it still takes a lot to take out the legendary fighters in morales, barrera. Then to go up in weight to fight men way bigger than he is naturally and fight cotto, margartio, clottey. it takes a special fighter. I will say they werent the same because a regular margarito/cotto would have put up a better fight.

That being said, mayweather deserves credit for fighting a young powerful guy.

The Floyd of those days had better legs he moved more. The Floyd of today is stronger because of all the roid use and roid rage he's been having. I predict that Ortiz will beat Mayweather he will have to ko him cause they will rob Ortiz like they did Castillo

I agree with this. I'm not saying Ortiz is gonna win but i would not be shocked to see him pull off the upset. As yu said i think he has a shot. As i have said i credit both fighters for taking this fight. Floyd because I really didn't think he would take a risk fighting a prime fighter in Ortiz with all the tools and power.

I credit Ortiz because he didn't have to take this fight right after winning his title. He had other options and could have taken a fight of this magnitude a year down the road. I am excited for this fight, i just hope Golden Boy isn't pushing him to fast and ruin him like Vargas was ruined. I hope Victor can pull off the upset. s you said i think he has a shot. If Floyd takes him lightly and looks forward to Manny, he could get put down.

Yea that would be cool, but apparently the two brothers have some serious feud going on. Do know exactly what it is? I've heard things but not quite sure.
