Ortiz will have to do as Castillo

and attack Floyd's body non stop with quick combos...he cannot go in there head hunting like he did against Berto. If he ain't punching he must stay out of range or he'll get tattooed with Floyd's pot shots as have all 41 past opponents. Ortiz' has at least one thing going for him and that is the fact that he's a southpaw. Floyd is more aggressive when he faces southpaws so this fight should be good.

Castillo did everything better than Ortiz.

He was a master inside fighter.

    Ortiz is alright.

If Ortiz is coming forward it dosen't matter what hand he uses.

Being a lefty is a only a huge advantage if someone is coming for you.

Castillo is a WAY better inside fighter than Ortiz. Castillo knew what he was doing in there and he still had trouble with Floyd. He set up traps perfectly and everything and he was still missing tons of shots.

It's not as easy as you think it is.

The 2 posters above me got it right.

In order to do what the OP described, first Ortiz would have to develop skills like Castillo which he doesn't have.

That was a different version of Floyd. Not nearly as big or strong at the time and not as seasoned. That stuff wont work on Floyd now, even if its a prime Castillo

He fought good on the inside against a man who didn't move. Berto=/=Mayweather. Mayweather isn't gonna just stand there and take punches.

I see fans are falling into the same things trainers do which is think Floyd is the same fighter he was when he fought Castillo. How many fighters have watched that tape thinking they can do the same as Castillo did only to find out it's totally different from the outside looking in? Once you get in that ring that gameplan will go out of the window once you realize it won't work.
