Mayweather will make it a boring chess match while Pac will be attempting to play checkers. Two different games on two completely different levels. Pac couldn't handle Mosley not fighting, just think of what Floyd does but actually throws and lands while making Pac miss when he does actually throw a punch.

Although Maybe Floyd has lost a step in the 16 months. We will see and what better way to see it than vs a southpaw champion at WW who fought Berto at 160 (fight night).
Pac is by far more consistent and by fat has more intangibles than what Ortiz does.

Pac has a much much greater chance than what Ortiz does.

For a question to even be ask just ugh....

        Skills..................win fights

And skill wise Ortiz is out of his league in this fight.
The version that beat Berto is the same version that fought Maidana.
        Only bigger.

Beating Berto is not that impressive to me.
Here is a guy(berto) that fought bums and has suspect chin and no defence.
Collazo did some damage to Berto to, and Ortiz used Collazo's blueprint to beat Berto.

Guess I'm out of my mind..............
We shall see what version of Ortiz..and Floyd...shows up.

Of course he has more than Ortiz. Styles make fights though.

Psh, really? His angles don't help against people who aren't flat footed, sorry. Pac has a better chance merely because of his speed. Nothing else. Both of them are gonna get embarrassed in there. The difference here is Ortiz is gonna pressure him for a couple of rounds. Pacquiao will be doing his same linear one two style and get hit with straight rights all night.

Mother****er didn't look like Night Crawler from the xmen in the Mosley or Marquez fights, yet you think he'll look like that against Floyd? Comon man.

Range will be the X-factor in that fight. Ortiz throws textbook-like combos, but he's not gonna have much success when Floyd is out of close range.

Everyone here should know that Ortiz isn't some bum. He showed a lot of heart and toughness against Berto. The only way Mayweather loses, and this should be the consensus, is if Ortiz comes with elite stuff and Mayweather is on the decline. Sure, Mayweather hasn't fought for a long damn time and that could very well hurt him but if you assume that they will bring their A game then Mayweather is just on another level just like Manny.

Exactly. Ortiz likes to fight on the inside, something Hatton loved to do, and we all saw what happened in those first couple of rounds with Hatton.

For the first 3 rounds or so it's gonna be very interesting.
