I never hated on that fight for the sake of hating on Mayweather. However, I was never particularly excited for it simply b/c stylisticall on paper it had strong potential to not produce fireworks. I didn't hate the result honestly, but I don't really find myself wanting to rewatch it very often.

Agreed. But its hard to get hyped for a match at 147 because Marquez has not shown he can be effective at the weight. Both fighters could make 140 and it would be more competitive. IMO. But still a good fight.

And they might both be great, or they might both suck. Either way they both have a good shot at entertaining fans. Fingers crossed!

I can appreciate you and brick being very optimistic. Maidana morales was good because both fighters are at the same level, sorta like gatti and ward.

exactly...even ortiz was given a very slim chance of beating berto but look what happened. now he's getting the biggest opportunity and payday of his young career.

I just think there are enough positive things to look forward to in boxing where NSB doesn't have to keep rehashing the same hand full of negative points in every single thread. Obviously for the majority this will be impossible, but it's nice to see a couple people are on board.

it's not like that...i'm just saying anything can happen in a boxing match. like i said let's wait for the result. and it's not like i'm trying to convince people to support pac-jmm. it's a choice and everybody's entitled to it.

Mayweather Marquez was BS, fat marquez.

Pacquiao Marquez is BS, fat marquez.

Mayweather/Ortiz is decent. Nothing to brag about, Mayweather dominates to UD but still, better than nothing. Can't wait.

I know where you guys are coming from. I'm glad the pac jmm fight is happening. I just think if its at 140 both fighters have some postive advantages to make it a more compelling fight. At 147 Manny has all the advantage so its not as good, same as floyd JMM at 144 or 146.
